So I found out enemy grenades you set off with Fuse can miss the enemy they're attached to. I'm still trying to figure out how that exactly works.

How exactly does the character pool work? Just about every time someone I've created shows up, there's 1 or 2 things changed from how I actually created them. Also, it seems you can get multiple instances of the same character. Had one guy in my initial starting barracks, but he was also available to recruit. Kinda annoying.

I got my power coils in the center of my Avenger. Decisions.... I guess I'll have to build more workshops instead and way far away from the corner that I started my GTS in. Is there a power bonus at least if you staff a gremlin at a Power Relay?

LordNat posted:Replace the Pistols with 2 Revolvers, each one can have 1 Mod. They have a special Ammo slot (like the Grenadiers slot) and have the ability to have 2 ammo equipped. Main down side is they have to manage the ammo on both guns (6 shots each), one of their perk levels is the Option of a free Auto Loader on each gun or have the Reload option reload both at once. I actually mentioned this to Coolguye: we should have a class that is dual pistols.

Hacking doesn't give you all 3 things. It gives you one thing. The left side is the 'bad stuff', the middle and right are 'pick the best one of these two and roll the die'.

I finally got concealed overwatches to both fire and actually hit and it's a very good and smug feeling. Also I finally got some of my custom weapons back. I have the cannons "Answer" and "Retaliator" () and Invective, Red Death, and I forget the other. Customization is good.

I have a question. I got a specialist. I gave him a medkit, and medical protocol. Gremlin now has 2 heal charges. I then took field medic expecting the # of charges to increase. Gremlin STILL only has 2 heal charges. Except at the same time I cannot seem to use my actual medkit when next to a person, so it seems like field medic + Medical protocol is bad/broken and should not ever be used, is this correct or has anyone else encountered this or what

Xcom 3 will start with Bradford breaking you out of a underwater base and taking you back to the sub they they have refitted.

So I noticed the XCOM wiki is claiming that PCS Will boosts increase the damage on certain Psi Amp abilities. I cheated too much and the game is now hilariously easy. Rolling into blacksites with full on alien armor, psyops and plasma weapons and walking over aliens to victory.

Well, second to last mission, but the last mission comes immediately after that one and there is no room for research or building. Also of some value on that mission: stock up on Intel. Sometimes if you don't have the ability to heal poison damage and you suspect they won't make it until the end of the mission it's a better idea to just call in the evac nearby and stuff them in so things won't get worse, then finish up the mission with whoever you have left.

I lost my first soldier to poison because I forgot that a. it hung around in a cloud since it had a much subtler graphic effect this time around and b. it restricted move distance, so I used the last medkit I had to patch up the poisoned solider, immediately had her move out of the cloud to get poisoned again, and then the timer ran out 2 tiles from the evac zone.

My gremlinman, grenadier, and sniper remained. The sniper pulled the last pack from outside vision range (?) with his handcannon (??) and hit and nailed a guy, the other overwatches hit, the stun lancer missed.
