He wouldn't shill them if he didn't like them. You're crazy if you don't think he puts back an Italian Meats Trio and some Bud on a regular basis.

going to church with ya girl is actually a really cool experience

The only time to go to church with your girl is when her parents are there so you can show off how great you are to her mom and dad. That way when you're goin' at it that night, she's not thinking in the back of her mind "is this the guy my parents would approve of?" and enjoy the experience more.

http://arstechnica.com/science/2016/02/new-report-outlines-nfl-interference-in-concussion-research/

quote:

On the surface, the league and its partners appear to altruistically support scientific studies on the effects of hard-hitting sports, such as football, donating more than $100 million to brain research efforts that may not otherwise have been supported. Behind the scenes, however, the organization has tried to funnel the money back to NFL-affiliated scientists and reneged on contributions when researchers came up with discomforting data, the investigation finds.

...

In particular, the investigation raises new questions about a recent study by NFL-funded researchers that the league used to justify ditching impact-tracking sensors in players' helmets. Although the data showed that two tested sensors were 96 percent accurate at detecting impacts and only a few degrees off at detecting the point of impact, the researchers and the league argued that the sensors were significantly flawed and shouldn’t be used in players' helmets.

A lot of discussion is coming up around whether or not Marshawn Lynch is HoF-worthy. This is a weird spot because Marshawn owns, but there's a lot of things that would really have to go his way in order for people to think he's HoF worthy. He's 35th all time in rushing, and even if you combine his Buffalo numbers, he still doesn't beat Shaun Alexander in total rushing. So it comes down to a narrative, being:

1. He had fantastic YAC.
2. He played in a pass-heavy era where the running back wasn't as valued.
3. On top of point #1, he played behind some really bad offensive lines. Shaun Alexander played behind a HoF OT and a probably future HoF OG.
4. People start to realize that RBs have short shelf lives.
5. He had one of the greatest playoff rushes in history (this is some Jack Morris poo poo right here), and overall was an excellent playoff RB.
6. He was the most feared RB (lol), which forced defenses to stack the box against him, which allowed for more Russell Wilson bullshit.

Overall, he's a fringe guy and I'd love to see him in the HoF because goddamn he was good in his short time, but I ultimately don't see it happening.
