The upcoming polls will still tell all. Cruz outperformed polls by like 5% in a caucus state which isn't too far fetched. He'd have to outperform by greater than 10% in a primary state to win (if poll numbers hold steady), which is pretty yuge.

quote:

"One CPA official described an environment awash in $100 bills," the memorandum says. "One contractor received a $2m payment in a duffel bag stuffed with shrink-wrapped bundles of currency. Auditors discovered that the key to a vault was kept in an unsecured backpack.

"They also found that $774,300 in cash had been stolen from one division's vault. Cash payments were made from the back of a pickup truck, and cash was stored in unguarded sacks in Iraqi ministry offices. One official was given $6.75m in cash, and was ordered to spend it in one week before the interim Iraqi government took control of Iraqi funds."

The minutes from a May 2004 CPA meeting reveal "a single disbursement of $500m in security funding labelled merely 'TBD', meaning 'to be determined'."

The memorandum concludes: "Many of the funds appear to have been lost to corruption and waste ... thousands of 'ghost employees' were receiving pay cheques from Iraqi ministries under the CPA's control. Some of the funds could have enriched both criminals and insurgents fighting the United States."

Rubio is going to come in second in New Hampshire, because it's destined. It is part of his strategy, and his strategy will succeed, because he must be the nominee. 3-2-1, the countdown to zero, to nothing, mathematically perfect. Rubio is the inevitability of death, the inescapability of fate, the unbreakability of natural law. He is our collective powerlessness in the form of a flustered hispanic twink.

That's why he's Trump's true opponent, not Cruz. Trump is the opposite. He posits that there is no dignity in acceptance. That we should not go gentle into that good night; but rage, rage against the dying of the light. He alone is the one capable of defying expectations, and what are expectations but fate? He breaks natural law by being the chaos candidate. He ignores reality not because it's unfavorable to him, but because reality is a crushing, tawdry thing, and we can do better.

Rubio and Trump are both nihilists, but Rubio is the old and typical kind, to whom, like his campaign manager says, "nothing matters." Trump is the new kind, the ubermensch, who doesn't care if anything objectively matters, because he is Human, and humans have the power to create their own meaning, their own values. He is the iconoclast who stands tiny before the vastness of entombed Gods, the ones who demand that we join them, and whispers back "no." Or perhaps, "I don't think so, dummies."

Finished his rant by saying that the DRIVE BY MEDIA want Jeb and politicians like Jeb in the race as long as possible to spend more money on ads which are great for their bottom line.

The Conservative talking class with few exceptions(Rush and Levin) thought Jeb destroyed Trump on ED...

If you actually watch the exchange Trump makes Jeb look like an idiot. Even better is that it came out that the Bushs used ED to build the Ranger's new stadium.

It's obvious that on some subjects Trump is actually the smartest guy in the room(ED, how to deal with NK to name a few), but substantive policy talk doesn't serve him as well as MUSLIM BAD! AMERICA GOOD! talk.
