F6's car prices are also less expensive in comparison.

Yeah, the way you get that poo poo is a loving horrid mess and I hate it. Finding a good tune is a goddamn miserable experience if you are using something not on the leaderboards. I do not understand why the gently caress they ditched the storefront, that poo poo was perfect.

In order for a franchise to be able to move from Xbox 360 to Xbox One is to show Microsoft that the company has successfully removed key features from their games, like storefronts, working voice chat, and working clans.

As it is with every other major-ish (they called the third xbox the xbox one lol) advance in hardware that facilitates semi-significant graphical increases in gaming history, we must have 2% better graphics and 12% more poo poo on the screen, let's fire all the non-essential teams and re-allocate budget so we can attain these meaningless goals! In fact I gave a friend 20 million in startup funds when he got the game by buying a car off him in the auction house, and still had some 30 million or so left over. 6 does give away more money, however. Forza 3, now that was a game where funds were tough to come by.

My earliest memories of Forza were from FM2 and the seemingly endless grind around different variations of that test track to do anything in the career mode.

You had to race on the Snake Tracks for like the first 45 minutes of the game and then never saw them again though. It was still 45 minutes too much because those tracks were almost as terrible as Indy infield is. *almost*

IIRC the snake tracks were as bad as they were because Turn 10 outsourced them to some other dev, which is also why they don't have the same kind of feel to them as your typical T10 track.

Exactly right, they were done by a studio in India that was completely divorced from all other aspects of the development, which is why they felt so out of place.

Forza 2 also had licensed music. Most of it was terrible, but I was too dumb to turn it off and I played so much of that game that it's all permanently ingrained into my brain. Daft Punk is playing at my house. My house.

I turned it off pretty quick, because the Xbox and Xbox 360 had this amazing feature that Microsoft decided wasn't important for Xbox One. I am talking about the feature that allows a gamer to stream music from their PC while playing video games. I spent many hours playing Forza 2 and Forza 4 (skipped 3 due to life) just jamming music while racing. Now with Xbox One the only way to do it is to have half your screen taken up by a "snap" app that's loving worthless.

You didn't have to stream it from the PC. If you had a music CD, you could install the tracks to the system and have it play in the background while playing a game.

At least they stopped that kind of thing with GT4, which had the same soundtrack between the western releases. By that point I had moved on to Forza though, so it didn't really matter.I played the poo poo out of Forza 1. Loved Alpine Ring, Tokyo and the Rio track (which was very different to the one we have in Forza 6 now), hated Blue Mountain because I wasn't any good on that track (Viper vs. Corvette event  ). The Junkie XL instrumentals of classic rock songs like Iron Man and Frankenstein are still burned into my brain, even though I mainly used my custom soundtracks while playing. Forza 2 was such a massive disappointment, as the graphics and gameplay weren't really any better and they replaced all the cool tracks with the snake ones.
