Time for more GT! This time it's episode 6: Like Pulling Teeth

• According to the subtitles this episode is called “That hurts a bit!? Goku the dentist”. I wonder if they're using the dub episode names for the Hulu episode titles.
  
• When I first saw the title I thought the episode would be about Goku needing a tooth pulled on some alien planet. The potential episode I wrote in my head ended up being far more entertaining than what I actually watched.
  
• Sure is convenient that so many planets in this universe support human life.
  
• Pan, please don't eat random space flower goo. Butterflies stick their bug junk in there.
  
• Pan helpfully points out that she could have smacked the poo poo out of the giant bees at any time, yet chose to wait until they dragged her into the giant bee hive for no reason whatsoever.
  
• I don't care how cute they are. I am NOT picking up and hugging giant bee larvae.
  
• The boys accidentally rescue a bee instead of Pan. How did they not sense going in that it wasn't her!?
  
• Goku and Trunks are for some reason very concerned about this random bee they found.
  
• Bees, creatures noted for their mellow responses to being messed with, quietly take their queen and leave without incident thus rendering most of this episode a pointless waste of time.
  
• Goku what the gently caress are you doing to that poor robot.
  
• It takes 20 minutes for the A-plot to start. 20 minutes!
  
• More power level weirdness: Goku struggles to hold a giant's mouth open.
  
• There are two problems with Goku Kamehamehaing the tooth out of the giant's mouth. First, the tooth was pretty clearly on the side of the mouth where the blast wouldn't have reached. Second, that beam probably should have taken half the dude's jaw off with it.
  
• That giant is surprisingly fine with random space-midgets blowing holes in his face.
  
• So I guess this is the episode where the robot officially get's a name. Which is weird because he's contributed NOTHING to this entire endeavor (or the show as a whole) whatsoever.

GT Time! Episode 7: Trunks the Bride

(I'm going to start adding episode summaries so that people unfamiliar with the show will have some idea of what's going on. Not that you really NEED to know all that much...)

The story so far: Trunks, Pan and kid-Goku must get the dragonballs or the earth will explode.... In space! Also there's a robot.

In this episode: The show rips off the Oolong episode from Dragonball classic. The only real difference is that the monster is actually a monster and Trunks is the one that dresses like a girl. So... the Oolong episode minus anything that actually made it fun or interesting.

• *looks at title* Well this is going nowhere good...
  
• I don't think I mentioned this yet but for some reason the writers thought it would be a fantastic idea to have Goku naked for part of the opening. This means that if you watch the show in it's entirety you'll have seen Goku's junk over sixty times by the time you're done.
  
• Oh, so the robot is both annoying AND actively wrecks the ship. Really loving this new character, show!
  
• So the robot eats random (often non-electrical) stuff for energy? How is that even supposed to work? I guess this could go interesting places down the road (the robot eats a lazer pistol then get's the ability to shoot lasers), but I have the sneaking suspicion that it won't.
  
• What the hell is with the whimsical mood all of the sudden? It's like they landed on planet Ghibli or something.
  
• This isolated alien society is not surprised in the slightest by the discovery of life on other worlds.
  
• Why is there one white human girl in the middle of this town of Native American space elves!?
  
• Trunks you know what a loving dragonball looks like. You do NOT need to compare it to another one just to be sure.
  
• Pan kicks the annoying robot into the garbage, thus cementing her spot as my favorite character.
  
• Oh no! Not earthquake powers! *floats three inches off the ground*
  
• Dear lord, five seconds in and I already hate this villain with a fiery passion. Can we just kill him now and wrap up the show early?
  
• OH MY GOD HE'S STILL TALKING SHUT THE gently caress UP GOD DAMNIT!
  
• No really, why didn't Goku just curb-stomp this thing the moment it showed up!?
  
• More power level weirdness: Goku get's his hand slapped by a middle-aged woman and it seems to really hurt.
  
• THE CROSSDRESSING PLAN IS ENTIRELY POINTLESS! JUST PUNCH A HOLE IN THIS GUY'S FACE AND MOVE ON!
  
• OH MY GOD HE'S EVEN MORE ANNOYING THE SECOND TIME AROUND! JUST. SHUT. UP!!!
  
• SHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUP!!!
  
• Wait. A cliffhanger? We actually needed two episodes for this bullshit!?
  
• I am NOT watching the next episode of this arc sober. gently caress that noise.

I thought they were only invincible when focusing their Ki or whatever. Lots of times Goku gets caught off guard and his body seems pretty close to human levels of actual physical endurance. Krillian threw a rock at him once, and he was a super sayjin and it hurt him because he was taking a nap, and of course Sorbet shot him with his space laser pistol.
