It sounds like some of these Morris dancers are very into English culture, and perhaps overlap with SCA nerds? But I'm just guessing here. Funny how you don't see these nerds getting into dance styles like salsa or cumbia or something.

The first time I ever heard about Morris Dancers is from an episode of Black Adder. The only other time before this thread was when I was working for Games Workshop and there was some teasing among the Brits about out head of finance being a Morris Dancer in his youth.

There's just so much happening in this photo. The angry blonde women, the weird proportions ladies, the special needs child, everyone in it is wearing black pants. It's gotta be a set up.

Re: Morris Dancers. This is former parliamentary candidate Will Straw – son of former Home Secretary Jack Straw – with a local morris dancing troupe. Knowing his father's reputation among BME communities, one would would think the younger Straw would steer clear of courting such controversy, but nope.

Granted some people argue that people are getting weirder but it's the same thing, really; humans have always been weird. Now it's just more visible. "But now there are people with a nylon fetish!" Yeah there have been since nylon was invented. So what?
