Always ends up being some lazy shut-in autistic "shy" type that can barely make awkward conversation because they want women to pursue them. So instead of saying hi or striking up conversation, they sulk in a corner somewhere or interject themselves into conversations and laugh at jokes they're not part of, then wonder why people avoid them because they're a leering creep hoping a desperate lady throws them a bone. Pretty sad really but for the most part, at least they won't get laid and pass on their lovely sperglord DNA to some poor child that'll end up stunted and living at home until they're 47. yeah shy people don't deserve happiness

Shy people should be put into labor camps and when they have worked themselves to death they should be burned to provide heat for the more social amongst us.

In the early days of YouTube, it was the other way around - the user community was small enough to get its own name, and there wasn't really a class of dedicated full-time video creators in need of a name of their own. If you watch videos from 2007 or thereabouts, a lot of them start with "Greetings YouTubers" or some similar introduction.

Aesop Poprock posted:I don't know if that's racist as opposed to actually a good point. Being a black dude in the 60s would suck Yeah that's what I mean. Being black in the 60's was a harrowing experience. I also think being black in America now I agonized over that post wondering if I had said too much and made it stupid and unfunny, and in limiting my words I managed to just not even make my joke make sense What I meant to make a joke about was... Racism is funny. It is funny to make racist jokes. They amuse me. When people say racism exists, they are making poo poo up. They want attention, regardless of whether or not it's negative attention, or even attention that causes their lives to be ruined, or their bodies and families to be hurt or killed. Haha racism. Oh, but it DID exist. In the 60's. So I'm not racist. Since I am unable to process difficult thoughts from spending all my time on the internet instead of meeting new people, I will relate to experience of black Americans in the 60's through facile, derivative meme humor. I will make a joke about a time when getting the poo poo beaten out of you for being black was so common, there is still in use a slang word to describe that "activity." But racism doesn't exist now. Just "back then." And 40 - 50 years is a long time! So if I make racists jokes, they're automatically funny, and no one can say otherwise because it is definitely up to taste and in no way a reflection of a larger societal issue. And I can't forget to add that because racism doesn't exist, any time someone says something even remotely criticizing the fetishistic worship of straight, white, (predominantly) affluent males, and the backlash against intellectualism, they are being a loving fascist. They are like Nazis. And worst of all, they are not funny, and I hate to be made uncomfortable. I'm scared I will become irrelevant. ... is what someone who only goes on imgur and has no other interests may or may not think. For real though I hope they get lots of love. http://imgur.com/gallery/5C0m2GT Posted without commentary.

Haymaker_Betty posted:http://imgur.com/gallery/5C0m2GT It's super great to have all these links to back up your argument! If only a single one was clickable. And of course, as far as I can tell, no on actually asks for the link to the post to verify this, because they just want to get mad at women, so they trust whatever. Not saying the links aren't leading anywhere (women are jerks too), but it's not even giving us a single url for any of these. At least when people make horribly racist macros on 4chan they include a url which, when followed, (surprise!) says none of what the macro claims. This is somehow worse than that.
