At a guess based on the placement, it is trying to indicate that Cox is filing on behalf of some estimated number of everyone who has ever lived in the US. This document might be a modified version of a more general sovicit filing document that was originally designed for use in some setting where the filing person was basically attacking the entire US government in even more direct/explicit terms, where suing "on behalf of" everyone on earth/the US would make more "sense".

Nope, I got the direction wrong. If you look at the header "counter-suite" she's suing john or jane does 1-1000. The scarequotes around "next friends" at the end are to indicate that she views the people she is countersuing as false representatives of (depending on ideology) 1. a massive anonymous conspiracy or 2. the corporate, unreal "selves" of all americans since whichever precipitating illegitimate event her brand of sovcit thinks took over the legitimate US government. In both cases, the 1-1000 at the top and the 10 billion at the bottom are referring to the same mass.

Little of column A, little of column B I think

The 1-1000 surely refers to the shadowy cabal that runs America, and thus the world. The 10 billion represents the entire population of Earth. I believe the implication is that she is suing the federal government on behalf of the entire world. That is how deluded these loving people are.

Just to emphasize how dumb she is, here is Cox's lawyers motion to get her out of jail pre-trial:

http://www.scribd.com/mobile/doc/298074507/Cox-Finicum-funeral-motion

That is some very good lawyering by Tiffany Harris, and Cox is lucky to have that for the bargain price of zero dollars. As one of the more peripheral figures, it's entirely plausible Cox can have a life after this.

But nope. No titles of corrupt nobility! They're all crooks! Burn it down!

Hey, can we stop downplaying that whole stalking/terrorizing thing that the Burns residents and especially government employees (of which Burns has quite a large number, percentage-wise) went through/might still be going through in our efforts to prove our point and/or that somehow completely irrational people will respond rationally when confronting people they irrationally blame for all their ills and won't, you know, actually physically harm them at any point despite following them home, stalking their family (including children and the sheriff's elderly parents), directly confronting them verbally, staking out their home, and sending numerous death threats? Not all harm is physical, people had to leave their own homes for their own safety because of this bullshit (including the sheriff's wife), we had a girl on camera trying to explain that she was terrified as gently caress in her own town (who was then mocked by Santilli), and lots of talk of putting local and county people on trial for treason, which, as these assholes are happy to point out all the time, means a death sentence if convicted (and of course they're going to be convicted).

They terrorized an entire community, that's more than annoying or just scaring them by being present with guns, and it's ridiculous to just assume that 'oh well, they didn't mean it, obviously' and that these people were never in any danger. We're talking about a group that has had members do things like gun down two cops at a traffic stop because of their ideology and pent up anger, it's not like SovCits have never carried out their threats before.

I mean, I don't want to dampen things in the middle of the hilarious Shawna Cox lulz, but gently caress's sake, dude.

We don't need to have that dialogue because it's obvious, trivial, and has already been had a thousand times.
States chat- as described in the Meads decision, it's not uncommon for sovcits to modify off-the-shelf sovcit filing documents for their particular case, a horrible parallel to normal legal boilerplate document practices. If you see an error related to locations, it's often because the original document was meant for a different jurisdiction. Foreign courts that get sovcit filings often find that the filings are loaded with references to US-specific law, particularly the Uniform Commercial Code.

The stalking still appears to have been hanger-on groups, and it started before the occupation. The town had extra protection, including fortifying the courthouse. The occupation may well have made the town MORE safe, because it brought the FBI to town and there's no indication that the harassment was heightened by it - it wasn't mentioned at all after day 9 of the occupation or so.

You've said this a few times, but I think you misread something somewhere. We have no idea who was responsible for what as regards the terrorizing and stalking, or the death threats. They started before the occupation began, but we know Ammon and Friends were up there looking things over sometime around then too. A few things that have been said or come out as supposedly being said by the militants suggest they were at least preparing for some poo poo like that. There wasn't all that clean of a line between those occupying Malheur and those in Burns because the militants came and went as they pleased. A number were reportedly staying in local motels rather than at the refuge, but were part of the occupation.

I don't agree they were safer after the FBI arrived. Sheriff Ward probably was, but not to the point his wife was able to return home. People left their homes well after the occupation began, and were even advised to do so by BLM, because they worried their personal information had been accessed (it probably was, given how strangers were finding them specifically). The courthouse was reinforced, and so was the sheriff's office, but random Joe Government Employee didn't have anything more than a possibly increased response time should something go wrong. We don't know if the incidents tapered off after a while or if they continued (or are still continuing) because, maddeningly, that's not something the media has been very interested in reporting, and they barely covered what harassment we do know about.

Either way, Malheur militants or some other group or (likely) a combination of the two isn't really the point. The point is people were terrorized and that's not great. Whether the FBI or local law enforcement could have actually done something about that, I don't know. That's actually the question I'd like to ask; in hindsight, was it possible to prevent them from having to go through that without having a shootout in the streets of Burns, and if so, why wasn't it done, and if not, what can be done to prevent such a situation going forward, because, you know, that wasn't a good thing. I'm just irritable when I see it downplayed as Not a Big Deal. That's easy to say when it's not your (general you, not you in specific, theflyingorc) town being filled up with heavily armed nutjobs you don't know anything about.

Cliven will not be offered anything other than a cell to live in until he dies. His sons getting plea deals would be absurd because the evidence against them for decades worth of prison time is pretty insurmountable. Maybe they'll get out on parole in a very long time but the Feds have zero reason to show any mercy to armed secessionists or an old rear end in a top hat who has been the source of numerous danger and violent stands against the law.

It also raises the profile of any plea deals they do offer while simultaneously demonstrating how effective they can be when they want to hold someone fully accountable for their crimes.
