Lmao someone threw away a live 40mm grenade, I mean there's Army stupid with the garbage dumping and all but there's also individual Army stupid, what the gently caress would make throwing a live grenade in the garbage seem like a good idea? That said, I've thrown away a discharging BA5590 into a dumpster while it was raining before, cause where else are you supposed to throw a discharging battery? The wet metal dumpster helps dissipate the electricity faster

No thanks. We also threw a box with 2x40mm on a trash fire. Unmarked MRE boxes are not a good field expedient amnesty box.

As a contractor working for a super cheap company that barely issued us rounds for our personal loadouts, my team and I once shook down a bunch of amnesty boxes past midnight. Got us supplied with enough ammo to train with, at least!

The army subreddit never disappoints, "rear end in a top hat on reddit posted:I literally don't care about any of them. I sat on an SIV (Special Immigration Visa) board during one of my deployments and denied every single one of them, and they were all interpreters. All my interpreters from my last deployment were rounded up and executed about 6 months after the last US forces left Kunar province. Not a single tear shed on my part. I think if I knew where this dude was stationed I'd be forwarding this to his chain of command. Not that it'd make a difference.

I'm torn, I had some cool terps, but LOL if you don't think Iraq and the world would be better off without any Iraqis left alive. Right before I deployed to Afghanistan I ran into one of my Iraq terps at the Centennial Days fair in Colorado Springs. Pretty weird.
