One difference if you are doing heroic missions alongside the story is that from 1-60 they reward you a box with two blue items, and from 61-65 they give you new items instead that you can't do anything with until you complete a chunk of the most recent expansion. Assuming you are a subscriber, if not I don't think you get the boxes.

Why do people not like Skadge? I vastly prefer him to Kaliyo or Doc. Possibly others. Also, geez, I wish every week's conquest was like this. I'll probably end up hitting it on 4 characters instead of my previous record of 0.

My least favorite is Kaliyo, followed by Quinn. I don't have a huge problem with Skadge. He's a dick, but he's a loyal dick. Kaliyo tries to backstab you in every single one of her companion quests, then gives you attitude for daring to not allow yourself to be killed or sold into slavery. Quinn tells me he hates me and hopes Baras kills me. Skadge insults my crew but I'm still his boss and he says as much. My favorite is Ashara because she constantly calls both jedi and sith out on their bullshit. Jaesa eats up everything you tell her which I find boring but Ashara will fight you on everything and it's amazing. She's pretty much the only grey jedi or whatever. I don't have a Skadge companion, what class is that and where in the story? My worst companion is probably Quinn, but at least I can enjoy tormenting him. I flirted like mad with him until he finally broke down and made his move, at which point I said "too late, not interested anymore". Then I declined to approve his promotion. I'm sure he hates me and will try to get me later. I have Broon, and as he's brand new, he's sort of at the end of the line for gifts and such, so he's only at level 5 and not getting much use. Jaesa is my regular murder-spree companion and I've got her up to level 25 now I think, with Vette at 23, but she's not a big fan of murdering everyone as the solution to every problem, so she mostly stays on the ship these days. I expected to move Treek into the day-to-day companion role until Jaesa came along. When Jaesa went dark-side, she went all in.

I want to write words about Skadge, but I don't want to complain about bad writing in a BioWare game for fear of getting the thread gassed. I just don't see him as a real part of the whole Bounty Hunter story, even a dark side one. I realize he isn't around very long and doesn't have the time to develop like say Mako but being the only real true dark side companion I think he should have got a little more fleshing out. Every class has companions like these tho so I guess it's not a Skadge specific problem. Also his head looks like a huge poop.  I would like to read why people like him tho. I really feel hate for Kaliyo as well. My hate for her goes deep because Agent was my first play through at launch and I had to level healing Operative just to keep her alive, which was the real end game. All the while just waiting for her to gently caress me over at every turn while I played space James Bond.

Stupid question but with the patch this morning I only got one more balmorra heroic done. Do the weekly ones reset on saturday morning or Sunday? Hopefully I don't have to spend all morning grinding through the rest of them. Late'ish in the Mercenary vanilla game (at the end of the prison planet) Im jumping on the hate Skadge bandwagon. A genuinely uninteresting and unpleasant companion. He is not "ironically unpleasant but tolerable", like the first Sith Sorcerer companion, but simply intolerable. I don't even do his companion quests. I guess i should just to make him do missions faster.

Man I'd really like to come back to this game but BIoware still won't sell the original Tracer Missile animation on the CM, which was the single best thing about this game.

I still like Quinn as a character, even with the "surprise twist!" The part I hate is that I am forced to take a soft reaction to that twist, despite having murdered people for far less.

Garza says someone's head needs to roll for the defection, and Jorgan is both convenient and doesn't have friends in high places to protect him from it. And yes, Aric is a dick to the Trooper at first. He changes his tone once he's satisfied that you know which end of a blaster points which direction, and he's the only romance for a female PC that I've genuinely liked.

Yeah, it's hidden towards the bottom of the 'Chapter 10 and Firebrand are here - Play Now!' email - came the same time as my monthly cartel grant so I missed it at first. The nice thing about all these gamble boxes is it makes space barbie much cheaper. Got the Skotia set, some cyborg legs and the new anarchist mask together along with some new threads for Pierce:
