You don't get upvoted for being helpful but for being a fanboy. Anyone making parachute accounts should make a couple of posts to reap some 10 karma and then let them fallow until the day they are needed. That way you can easily bypass reasonable karma/reg_date restrictions in place. They are sure to tighten the screws on who can post new threads without pre-approval so the more you distance yourself from a 0 karma fresh account the more restrictive it needs to be for everyone else in order to be effective.
