did she consider looking for another job and/or finding a cheaper place to live? I did a google search for apartments 40 miles from san francisco and found some that were right around $1000 a month which is a lot but still less than the $1245 she says she's paying.

But I didn’t want to become a cliche or drown in student loans, see. I also desperately needed to leave where I was living — I could get into the details of why, but to sum up: I wanted to die every single day of my life and it took me several years to realize it was because of the environment I was in. And here are the "witty" suggestions she made to the CEO quote:Maybe instead, you can help set up something to allow Eat24/Yelp employees to get food from local food banks and soup kitchens? quote:UPDATE: As of 5:43pm PST, I have been officially let go from the company. In short a lovely person takes a lovely job, bemoans that the company won't simply accept her massive volume of tweets as a resume for the media job, passive-aggressively bitches about everything, then directly insults the CEO, e-stalks him, and implies he doesn't deserve his wealth.

I read that whole letter and I think this is my welcome to the Republican party moment. Also your rent being 30% of your net income isn't "ideal", it's supposed to be an upper limit if you aren't a dummy

You can live with roommates, and in fact in many places you can find multi bedroom apartments where the rent may be over 1000 but splits to reasonable levels with multiple people. I'm sure it's hard/impossible to do that in the San Francisco area, but perhaps you shouldn't move across the country to work a minimum wage job there in that case

on one hand, i feel bad about th eminimum wage situation in general. on the other, this idiot bought into it, in america's worst and most expensive bubble. here's where she shows, for instance, how ignorant she is of this entire system quote:Do you know how many cash coupons I used to give out before I was properly trained? In one month, I gave out over $600 to customers for a variety of issues. Now, since getting more training, I’ve given out about $15 in the past three months because I’ve been able to de-escalate messed up situations using just my customer service skills. Do you think that’s coincidence? Or is the goal to have these free bleeders who throw money at angry customers to calm them down set the standard for the whole company? Do you think there’s any point in training a customer service agent to learn and employ customer service skills? they save a lot more than $600 making GBS threads in your mouth

She's probably going to get a surge of pity donations for a short time. She really should probably use the money to move to a less expensive city, find something steady to tide her over for a while, then start working towards a media career tweeting or whatever it is she wants to do.

There aren't a lot of jobs anywhere in the loving country!! Holy poo poo would it amaze you to learn that by sheer coincidence the cheaper places to live are where work is hardest to find!!!!?????? OMG you can rent a whole loving house in the middle of dipfuck county!!! Sure you'll pay the difference in misery and money commuting 120 miles a day to get to work but the system works see!!!!

So she makes $733.24 bi-weekly and $1245 a month is for rent. Thats 221.48 left. She pays $11.30 a day for transit, assuming she works 5 days a week thats $226 a month for transit. So shes already at -$4.52 before even counting FOOD and any other sort of bill. How the gently caress do you even consider that a smart move
