My dad threw a bunch of extra tickets for indoor AMA Pro/AM motorcycle circle-track racing at my friends and I, and I was super excited the whole day at work to go down some beers and watch dudes go at it. Thing started at 6:30, didn't get off work until 6. Straight to my friends house, pick him up, then pick two other people up, and by the time we get downtown it's a little after 7:30. So we probably missed all of the practice and qualifying sessions, whatever no big deal. Oh, by the way, the Auto Show is in town, and also the stupid loving Bucks game, so LOL gently caress you, you're not parking. Drove around for 30 minutes, every single loving lot and parking structure within a mile radius is full and closed. So in the end, I paid 10 bucks to park a mile and a half away from the stadium, got there and all that was left was two 5 or 6 lap races for dudes off the streets on their poo poo-house hipster choppers. At least a bunch of them ate poo poo. gently caress Milwaukee. Edit: Just saw that a kid I used to hang out with in middle school's brother finally passed from MS today. The guy's kind of a turd now, but man that sucks T-Square fucked around with this message at 17:03 on Feb 20, 2016 |

Or just hire a car and give it some down some country roads. For other stuff, if you're talking car-specific things, there's always small (and not so small) shows dotted around the country during the summer - for example, Beaulieu Motor Museum will have a Land Rover day on the 7th of August, their Supercar Showdown event on the 21st and so on. Land Rover's factory have a tour/history thing, it all depends what interests you. Maybe once you've got an idea of where you fancy going, see which of us a nearby for goony meetups.

I'm watching my neighbor's rear end in a top hat boyfriend block traffic with his brotruck. He was backing out of the driveway and his wheel fell off. Truck is currently on a jack and he is trying to reattach the wheel (which apparently also has the hub and other suspension bits connected to it). It's been 12 minutes and the street is completely blocked, waiting to see how long before the police show up and force a tow. I've opened my office window and am playing 'Yakety Sax' full blast.

New mattress day! Old one was getting on 6yrs old and was so hosed i was waking up with pinched nerves in my shoulders and the better half was getting back pain. The new one was $3K, had it for $1500 on a half price for Aus made mattresses sale with a Manchester pack. Didn't want the Manchester pack, so they knocked it down to $1100 and for $15 they would deliver it and take the old one away with them! Score! Old one was an inch BELOW the bed frame edge... Isaac approved!

It was a very cheap mattress to start with, and yeah, they're only good for 10yrs if you buy a good one to start with! Plus waking up and not being able to lift your arms above horizontal was getting very old, very fast.

Nothing better than a new bed. Me and my girl have the same exact mattress. A queen size Bob-O-Pedic. We keep joking about a queen sized bunk bed when we move in together but I kinda want it.

Wife woke me up this morning and asked if I wanted to go to the dirt track. I love that woman. Nice socal winter day, 75* and sunny. They ran factory stock, street stock and modifieds. Next weekend is test n tune for all classes, free entry and two dollar beers. She wants to go. Now relaxing with beer and fire.

I don't wanna go back to Dallas in the am. *pout* But.. gently caress Austin traffic, and especially gently caress parking down here. Hopefully my car is where I left it in the morning; the sign said parking is only enforced Mon-Sat, but there was also a 5 hour max parking sign. 311 couldn't give me a definite yes or no on if I'd be safe (but did say that she personally thought I'd be fine). I couldn't find anything else within about half a mile.

Friday afternoon - 1km ocean swim race. Rough, blown weeeeell off course, had a ball Saturday midday - Enticer Triathlon warmup, 300m swim, 8km bike, 2km run Sunday - Long Course Triathlon - 2km ocean swim, 83km bike, 20km run. I hurt in all sorts of new and interesting ways for some odd reason. Altho leaving the pub afterwards, grabbing ice cream and eating it in the gutter was ample and to me hilarious payoff.

If you find yourself in Scotland then Knockhill might be worth a look. It's not far from Edinburgh / Stirling / Perth so you would be passing by it if you were heading to the highlands unless you go via Loch Lomond. They have a bunch of experience packages like this: http://experiences.knockhill.com/rally-driving-experience.php If you find your way up to Scotland I'd recommend driving a route like the north coast 500 or a variation of. I would personally do the eastern section differently. https://www.northcoast500.com

He hired a trust/probate attorney to read that thing and understand it. Everything my FIL owned was in the trust and the trust basically paid his living expenses. He was a very clever man, although I did find some documents that indicate he got fleeced by some rear end in a top hat in Bratislava for a patent registration. At any rate, I'm happy I won't have to file probate stuff in CA, that lawyer was worth his weight in gold because he's helping take care of the home sale process as well.

Found 3 $100 bills laying on the ground at the casino last night. Picked em up and put em in my pocket and walked away feeling slightly scummy because if I were to lose $300 I'd feel pretty sick. But I also don't walk around with hundred dollar bills. I consider it karma for being scammed on craigslist a few times. Or maybe its the start of reverse karma for me. Either way gently caress it Im rich yo.

I've been dealing with Crohn's disease for awhile now and ran across a supplement called L-Glutamine that is supposedly a god send for people suffering with Crohn's and IBS. Jumped in with both feet not really concerned about any side effects because it's a natural supplement, what could go wrong? Headaches that make your head feel like it's going to slowly split open from the base of the neck up, apparently. I'm in the small percentage that has the reaction, gently caress me

I completely forgot to post about this, but I finally got my car back after 4 weeks (!) at the mechanic for accident repair. It turns out that replacing a rear quarterpanel is actually a pretty big task, plus they were understaffed due to one guy quitting and one guy going on paternity leave. But I had a free courtesy car, so that's OK. It feels so weird coming back to my own car every time I've driven some other car for some time. The seating position is completely different, not nearly as upright as in the 206. The clutch bite point is way up high in comparison, and the brake/accelerator pedals are much less front-loaded. And of course it's heavier, more comfortable and has a boatload more torque. I can't wait to blast it down an onramp again 88h88 posted:There's a good few actually, my friend's new band are playing for their first time here so I have to go make an effort.
