The circle pad pro does help a fair amount but having a giant plastic peripheral that takes batteries (!) constantly stuck to my console feels very 2004.

It's a charge thing so that it increases the 3ds' battery life and also acts as a handle so that you can hold it more comfortably

Agreed. loving hell, Lost Levels was a bitch. I even completed that one challenge Nintendo Power had where you had to take a picture of yourself being above the level at a certain late Bowser fight. The patch I got from it has pretty much disintegrated.

I completed all of the campaign missions of Brink for both sides.

I can't remember if I paid a dollar for this game or if it was free. This was an awful FPS regardless.

I use a 3DS XL and I have big hands and I also have a hard time holding it for long periods of time. It's one of the reasons I've only properly played two games on the 3DS: Link Between Worlds and Persona Q.

I still want to get Bravely Default though. I love classic FF, and I love Akihiko Yoshida's artwork and character designs.

The multiplayer was fun. Sorta played like Enemy Territory with added dress-up. If I remember right, it locked content behind some goddamned awful single-player tutorial.

You're gonna have to eventually, some new games straight up won't run on your old one.

Majora's Mask has some camera controls on the New XL but it's been incredibly sparse. I think Smash also runs better? I haven't felt compelled to upgrade at all yet from my XL at least.

I�m probably going to bite the bullet on a N3DS XL because bae lost my original 3DS and it�s as good an excuse as any because trying to play Smash (among others) on a tiny screen clearly not designed for it was frankly miserable. Can�t imagine Hyrule Warriors will be very pleasant either.

it should be noted that 90% of Far Cry Primal's upgrades and abilities are useless and you're better off using the midrange weapons.

Animal taming just means you have a single wingman who has a ton of HP and should be used to distract enemies and be a living shield because they do poo poo damage even when fully maxed out.

Mammoths can't fit in most places and are useless, so the main image on the cover and big draw is only good for maybe the first few missions before any benefit is negated. Stick with Sabercats because they're clearly the most thought out companion animal. They're your Lydia.

Wolves suck and get stuck as do bears and everything else. Cats for whatever reason don't wind up doing stupid things in this game and are reliable, where as in real life cats are the most unreliable things ever created.
