Ryu vs Laura seems pretty even to me. EX bolt threatens enough that you can't be very careless with Ryu since maintaining good spacing its entirely able to be done on reaction(you should have like a 1/3 of a second to do it if you are just outside of normal ranges its not hard). Laura has really decent normals, I don't even think Chun out footsies here very hard once Laura gets meter, you get counterhit once and eat buffered bolt or a crush counter. Just my 2 cents

I got this game for pc and I'm having some issues with performance/fps. The game usually runs at 60fps but frequently dips into the 50~59 range which slows it down. My specs are - i3-4160 @ 3.60GHz gtx 750ti 8GB ram Playing with the graphics settings doesn't seem to give any appreciable decrease in frame drops, even with everything set to low. I've also tried fullscreen and windowed at 1280x720, both with max/low settings and it didn't seem to matter. Installed that nvidia driver that was posted in the old thread and no change. On the bright side I guess this means I might as well play with everything at max but the slowdown is still frustrating. I tried playing online with a friend and it felt smoother there but he said I was teleporting a bit and it was annoying to deal with and I'd rather not be "that guy" who makes the game lovely for everyone else I play against. Is there anything else I can do with what I have? Is this something that is likely to be patched somehow by Capcom or have a mod developed for?

I just bought this game yesterday, with a hopeful gleam in my eye, maybe this will be the fighting game I get into. I guess I have to wait an indefinite amount of time, although I'm pretty sure that is just a bad word choice that is meant to mean, "Why bother continuously extending this by an hour? We pay this twitter man five bucks per tweet."

I was having similar issues and upgrading to Windows 10 solved them, which I assume had more to do with deleting all old video card driver information and reinstalling it than anything to do with Windows itself, so you could try that.
