Like two-thirds of being good is knowing how the maps work. Not just the basic how to get from A to B and where the good running and camping spots are, but more importantly how to identify where the enemy team is now and where they'll be after you kill them based on your team's skulls and respawns. The other third is a good pair of headphones so you can hear people's slide farts.

Holy poo poo the players in TDM are loving terrible. I can see why it has 50% of the userbase, it's like an endless field of potatoes to be harvested. Second game we played I called in a Mothership  The corner campers are completely hilarious, they're so awful. The elite tactic of 'jumping and shooting' defeats their tactical corner defense. I really wish they'd do cryptokey bonus or double xp every day on a <10% game mode. Some of the lobbies are so loving dead, and it's only getting worse the more people on my friends list hit CHEATING ORANGE NUMBERS

I somehow managed to complete my glitch doubles last night. Two in one night, and both legit "glitch then shoot two mans" type of approach. I, by happenstance when finishing rejack, got a double as my final for that and it counted since I'd already finished the hive kills. Any advice on this one? I've seen suggestions to kill yourself and then go for it as well as using smoke and a thermal. Are these approaches realistic at all?

Here's what I did. - play normal. - if you go into rejack just wait and listen for the bullets to stop. - rejack and hold the jump button to soar out of the smoke like some kind of vengeful banshee. This had a 50% success rate for me and caused me to sorta like rejack. Extended mags also helps.

Haha dang I'm glad I waited on buying the starter pack since now it's free for this weekend, and the entire game itself is 34% off. Kinda hope that the people who bought the starter pack earlier can buy the rest of the game for cheap now, but I wonder if they just got left high & dry.

Use Varix to get those longshots on all guns. Legitimate long shots require ridiculous ranges. I'm one of the few people that like the HVK. I use rapid fire and laser sight because it fits my play style. The laser seems to allow some crazy 25ft plus hipfire kills. Rapid fire helps the time to kill. I use it like a smg and hipfire all the time. I know other guns are statistically better, but they don't keep my interest.

It's completely dependent upon maps, though, as there are quite a few that don't offer a long enough line of sight. Examples of where I've gotten long shots (all for lmg/assault/sniper): Fringe: in front of grannie's house to in front of barn Infection: in front of church to in front of house, fragle rock to a-side house, fragle rock jr to city hall Evac: By pole outside of B to A Havoc: Apc on C side to downed ship, apc on A side to pub rock Hunted: B overwatch to path outside b hut, top side stretch Redwood: several spots along endor, A-side entry to b to path from C by bunker Stronghold: house window to whatever that building is across the rocky field Breach: back of A sniper room to AC building Other stuff: Core - use the long barrel Hardcore - aim lol
