This is true. This is only for one guy, totally solo. With four people, three of them would be dicking around.

It needs to be reworked, honestly, and I think the way to do it is Framing Frame style. Do ALL of the objectives, all at once.

- Scan for a DNA match.
- Unlock all computer access on the director's computer.
- Search the archives for witness testimonies.
- Get the encryption keys.
- Find the server in IT.
- Finish hacking all four computers in the server closet.
- Steal an FBI truck on your way out.

GAMBLER
Medical Supplies Perk
- Addition to already existing perk: If the Gambler's current health is lower than another player's, the heal effect on the Gambler is increased by 100%. Stacks up to three times

BURGLAR
Breath of Fresh Air Perk
- Addition to already existing perk: Added a 10% crouching movement speed increase

ARMORER
Reinforced Armor Perk
- Addition to already existing perk: When your armor get depleted you will be immune to health damage for 1.5 seconds. This cannot occur more often than once every 30 seconds

CREW CHIEF
Wolf Pack Perk
- Combined the old Brute Strength perk with the Wolf Pack perk

Brute Strength Perk
- Replaced old perk with: You grants 8% damage reduction for player in your group. This bonus is double when you are under 50% health for yourself only

HITMAN
Ambidexterity Perk
- Added Akimbo related perks from Tooth and Claw and changed Stability Penalty from -24 to -16
- Addition to already existing perk: Akimbo ammo capacity of your akimbo weapon increased to 125%

Tooth and Claw Perk
- Moved Akimbo related perk to the Ambidexterity Perk
- Added to already existing perk: Your armor will recover 6 second after being broken no matter what the situation

Oh, I agree- it's a garbage space for stealth design. But the modding possibility is now there, which is really exciting.

the armor penalty is nowhere near as big a deal as people make it out to be, especially with the increased armor regen. my larger problem is that hitman still does not really have any way to resist or recover from damage. i suppose it is not that big of a deal if you resign yourself to using first aid kits, but if you are using first aid kits in any real form or fashion why the gently caress are you wasting your perk deck on dualies instead of just taking akimbo in fugitive? by the time you get to Uppers you are committed and have access to the greatest stuff in that tree. just grab akimbo and use grinder, whoops now you don't even need FAKs

i can actually see myself taking armorer now with the grace armor down grace period though. maybe. i dunno, muscle is still pretty hard to beat in terms of being the t-1000, which let's be honest is head and shoulders more important than anything else in this game.

It's not a huge deal, but my issue is that it compounds the problem you point out. The penalty is there for no real reason - removing it would have at least been an attempted Band-Aid on the weakness.

I wonder if the Armorer buff makes the mid-tier armors more viable. Your total armor is still low so it's going to get broken easily, but at least you have time and more movement speed to run for cover.

8% DR doesn't amount to much. I think it was brought up before when the changes were proposed, and IIRC the DR wouldn't allow you to withstand any more sniper/saigadozer fire than usual.

Maybe it would make a difference with Underdog ace? DR stacks multiplicatively, so there's definitely diminishing returns.

Assuming its not cumulative for every member of the group and not just the chief itself, unlike the extra 50% that triggers at low health. If that's the case, there could be at least 32% for the whole team and the CC would become a bit of a cockroach when they're starting to bleed.

But what's even better about these ideas is that they're thankfully making many of these perk upgrades work as synergy pieces to a stronger overall team. Beta CC, Gambler and Armorer would give some drat good bonuses on the team Muscle.

Let me tell you about a thing I learned last night, forever lost to this patch:

If you (used to) run Swan Song and Shockproof, you can basically maintain Swan Song indefinitely. I think I was Swan Songed for at least 3 or 4 minutes straight last night. I assume that's no longer possible. Unless getting tazed still triggers the SS reset. In which case...

You can go akimbo, though I usually run GL40/Beagle. And acing Low Blow/Sneaky Bastard generally isn't worth the points unless you really need to use high visibility weapons.

When I was banging out the death wishes, I mainly used a fugimind build with basic lowblow/sneaky bastard, HE judge and specifically modded single shot clarion. My detection rate was 6 or 7 so I lost 1% of dodge but it worked fairly well.

This was way before the new balance changes and Grinder. Now it's even easier. Basically your options are to go full pistols in which case you take akimbo basic (no need for aced) and assorted pistol skills from mastermind, along with inspire aced of course. The other option is to go with rifles and you take kilmer basic, maybe smg specialist basic for a good secondary weapon from ghost with the usual sprinter, cat burglar, fast hands and shinobi.

With the rifle option you need to mod the weapons for increased concealment which can be tricky and it seriously limits your available weaponry, but it's very doable. 10 detection still gives you a fair bit of dodge and the grinder regen takes care of the rest.

Edit: when investing in fugitive, always always always take swan song aced. It's like inspire aced for mastermind and incidentally those two skills have great synergy.

I'd snag basic Low Blow and Sneaky Bastard. With akimbos for primaries, you really shouldn't have a problem getting good concealment values.

That maxes out sneaky bastard giving you 45% dodge while standing still or moving, 60 dodge while crouching, and 70% dodge while sprinting.

Most rock pistols or akimbos, but high-concealment rifles and SMGs are good, too. Extra flavor can be found in explosive Plainstrider bows, explosive Light Crossbows, HE Judges, HE Mosconis, the GL40, or the China Puff. Keep in mind that the grenade launchers can't benefit from Low Blow, while explosive bows and shotguns can.

Bullseye basic is great. If you have even a sliver of armor, the only cop that can touch your health bar is the sniper. Get it, pop helmets, constantly regenerate armor, and you'll protect your health very effectively. Just watch out for saigadozers, they fire fast enough that the sliver of armor won't really matter.

Doc bags vs. first aid is the eternal question. I tend to go FAK if I'm using Rogue and doc bag if I'm using Grinder. The importance of the FAK has declined somewhat now that Grinder and Muscle are kings, but feeding your Musclebound teammates cupcakes when they're low is still very good!

NOTE: UnknownMercenary had to correct me recently: you should build high stability on akimbos, it'll tighten your grouping better than building high accuracy.

Keep in mind that if you're running Grinder as your perk deck, you don't really need the concealment-based stuff like Sneaky Bastard and Low Blow. Skipping those frees up a ton of points and opens your weapon choices immensely.

Using this build as a example, you have 18 points left to put wherever you want. You already have fast rifle and pistol reloads, you can pick up faster SMG reloads for a point, you can get shotgun reloads for 4 and shotgun damage for an additional 5, or you can hedge your bets and grab all of it to bring whatever you want whenever you want. It's incredibly flexible.

Note that the build only uses double doctor bags and not quad bags though, with good Grinder play you probably won't use up double bags anyways unless it's a Deathwish run.

Of all the current new Mega Masks, Mega Deathwish is the worst by virtue of being the least flashy or interesting. Sure, the glow looks nice, but it'd be better if it gave off static sparks or the metal eyes moved or anything to match the effects the others bring. Even if M Plague Doctor is just a complete repeat of an existing one. Not terrible, just dull in comparison to the majesty of Mega Kawaii.

Files have been added to the game for a new heister, internally labeled "jimmy". The DLC associated with "jimmy" is labeled "coco". A reminder that these labels mean nothing.


...what does mean something is
