if you want but i've mostly lost interest

lots of people get some money from their parents, in fact its a unique american idea that you have to stop getting help from your parents at 18 years old

no, people's parents just tend to help support them until they are doing well enough on their own, the fact that you have some notion of "growing up and being an adult" meaning getting no help from your family as though you're some type of badass island man is a manufactured idea and completely based on nothing. Why wouldn't i want support from my family if they want to help me and are able to? They love me and I am appreciate them for helping with my rent and allowing me to live close to work and focus on my career and education.

Are you at least vaguely aware that the fact that where as generations before were able to live on their own without parental aid at our age, our generation might be hosed over to the point where you either need mom to give you cash every month or make massive compromises?

This is what pisses me off about my generation. We genuinely are worse off and can't afford the kinds of poo poo our parents did at our age, instead of trying to fix that issue or at least look at it, it just becomes "LOL can't afford a car, mom will buy me one"

Caesar Saladin

i'm aware and thats why i don't feel bad about it. Our generation can't really "change things," we're too young at this point.

In grad school I knew quite a few people whose parents were helping them out a little here and there - covering their car insurance or helping out with rent, etc. But among others this was always met with extreme derision. If someone mentioned that John's parents pay his cell phone bill, there were always choice words for John, but never including "oh, that's nice they can do that." I never really understood it, but it seems to be a pretty common thing. Honestly, I think 90% of it is regular old jealousy, not "god you're such a millennial."

To qualify this, my parents don't support me in any way financially and never have in my adult life.

i like that someone out there gets paid good money to make things like that all day long for their dear beloved company to put on their social media pages that nobody cares about. kinda wish i got into that hustle because they dont seem to do gently caress all (or at least anything of importance/substance) however social media at the time was strictly still for loving around w/ friends when i entered the post graduation adult jobs market.

yeah u can live an ok middle class life doing that poo poo p much, maybe making t-shirt designs, writing blog posts, and making sure ur company name appears in a google search (Search Engine Optimization they call it) in addition to that. u can also tell how retarded the ppl running ur company are based upon how this person is treated.

Are there a bunch of unemployed millenials who studied graphic design or something? Where do these retarded infographics keep coming from? It's like, somebody is trying to teach me and pass on knowledge but:
1. They're retarded and have bad advice
2. They don't believe I'll listen to them unless they pepper every 2 sentences with a picture.

It was probably paid for by some marketing director, my guess cmd is the company. No clue what the service or product they are trying to help grow awareness for.

edit: its a blog post by CMD. What is CMD you ask well, this is what they say they do. "We are a British manufacturer founded in 1984, who create solutions to meet the challenges of integrating power and technology with furniture for commercial environments."

Are lists a millennial thing? What is it with the lists anyways? Who keeps making them? Why do people like them?

Can some youngin' come over and help me turn off the lists on my televisionyoutubes? I never click on them but they keep showing up. Lists. Lists of things. Videos about lists of things.
