i've only just learned that two millennials who worked at starbucks & i was acquainted with moved away -- one is now an NSA analyst in colorado, the other a CIA background checker in virginia. they used starshmucks college pay program to get through school and then got their dream jobs i guess.

How unskilled do you have to be to acknowledge Starbucks is the peak of your career ladder. What are the lower ladder rungs on that climb?

"Treats employees fairly," "flexible work hours/schedule" and "work/life balance" are the highest ranking factors in choosing an employer, yet Amazon and Apple, two companies known for doing none of those things, are at the top of the list of desirable employers

literally any other job in the retail or service industry. the only service companies i know that help pay for education are starbucks & chick fil a. every other employer wants their drones stuck in the dead end job with no choices, trained & ingrained from a copyrighted service manual. keep em hungry & desperate.

starbucks is kind of a magical company: they somehow persuaded a wide swathe of people across multiple generations that it is Reasonable and Good to pay $5-10 for a cup of what isn't even coffee anymore.

The only reason I can think for the love of cia/fbi is :911: 9-11

Funny it made me dislike them after learning about the freedom we give up for security, also all of the coups and democratically elected leaders the US has deposed and guerrillas/warlords we have sponsored, and various expensive undeclared wars.

Hi I am a Christian that's for war and against feeding the poor, I will come to your house and steal your resources.

I find this really strange, like, I get it is all about a perception and accountability thing but getting drunk on the weekend is really just something young people have been doing since alcohol have gotten cheaper. So long as they are not photographing themselves doing something illegal it shouldn't really bar someone from entry job all it does is encourage people to make fake social media accounts for professional settings. Like, the only reason why this is a thing now is that it's a new technology now. People have been documenting their wacky activities and sexual exploits since the printed word.

And this is from someone who doesn't do any of that poo poo, who holds a job where if I had done it I would be sacked pretty quickly, and drink in moderation.
