for what it's worth (nothing), kiribati isn't one time zone, it stretches across three, but they decided they'd rather all be in one day http://www.worldtimezone.com/time-oceania12.php that means time zones go from GMT -11 to GMT +14, sillyly enough

An unforeseen future nestled somewhere in time. Unsuspecting pundits no warnings, no signs. Judgment day the second stumping arrives. Before you feel the bern you must die. Forgotten voters, conform a new faith, Avidity and lust controlled by hate. The never ending search for your shattered party, White working class in their own reality. Note that a significant portion of that early voting in GA is for the Democrats, most likely due to the "souls to the polls" program to vote after church, which would mean it's mostly older, black voters.

The number of Democratic ballots cast was 156,663 — 148,142 in-person and 8,521 by mail-in absentee." looks like the turnout disparity pattern continues there are elections where the party with increased turnout in the general wins, i assume. i think 2008 is an example. i found an article saying 1972 and 1988 were counter-examples, where the losing party had higher turnout in the primary. the least wrong theory in that article was that the out party, the one that hasn't had power for a while, is more likely to have increased turnout than the in party. that would bring 1972, 1988, 2008, and 2016 together - and it would render primary turnout essentially non-predictive, absent some further argument with additional supporting data hrmery edit: i tried for however long separates the post time stamp from the edit time stamp to find equivalent numbers for early voting from 2008 but i Failed Miserably oystertoadfish has issued a correction as of 05:25 on Mar 1, 2016 |
