Heritage not hate... Hmm... Sounds familiar. But in all honesty, while I knew the Redskins and Indians had abominably offensive logos and/or names, I didn't know the Blackhawks logo was included in the criticism. But I'll take the word of natives and native spokespersons on my the issue because I'm not a Native and I'm not an rear end in a top hat. Tradition can suck it. Besides the 'new' Blackhawk logo floating around lately is bad rear end as hell.

I find it a little odd the amount of time that article spends on being like "hey this is how conservative people voted on abortion stuff back in the day." Like, I'm not sure how that's supposed to be seen as objective and impartial news reporting, regardless on how you view the validity of the claims that it isn't some backdoor way of trying to get the abortion debate reopened.

It's kinda funny that CI gets so incensed over Jenny Kwan taking a vacation at Disney Land (using money from a charitable cause he doesn't actually support) but is very enthusiastic about the wholesale legalized corruption represented by ISDS or extending insane American intellectual property laws. Speaking of the Gardiner, city council has agreed to compromise on a hybrid option for the Eastern end, which will be elevated (pleasing the Tory camp) and less of an eyesore than the original plan. In true Toronto fashion, it is the most expensive option and described in glowing terms by Pam McConnell as "it's the best of the worst". I sense an opportunity for a new marketing slogan there.
