Did you ever wonder where the Romans got bread from? It wasn't from Waitrose!

I've got to watch my pennies this month due to a one-two grown-up expenses punch at the end of March/early April, but this is so lovely -- link, please? Ta!

I actually bought that dress at a local consignment shop that usually has a huge collection of ModCloth that local women wear once or twice before tossing. I guess it's one of the few perks of living in a college town.

This is the link I found to it on ModCloth, the original price is way out of my budget, but if you seek out your local consignment shops you should find similar outfits.

Cheers -- I know what you mean; there's a consignment shop in London I hit up whenever I'm up there and get amazing bargains, complete with price tags still attached, as people dump off an entire wardrobe's worth of unworn stuff probably costing about 2 or 3 months of my wages...

Is that the first pair of Vans you've ever seen or something? They've looked just like that for decades, that's far from a new style.

I assumed it was a reference to the fact that most of the Vans that get posted in here have some kind of loud print, like the pizza one from a couple pages ago.

A lot of Vans recently have been graphic print and loud, I'm a huge fan of these. Very simple.

Chicken Sandwich is what it's usually called.

A sandwich. In the US the term "burger" is almost exclusively applied to a ground beef patty on a bun, although other ground meats on bread are sometimes called burgers too.

Yeah, if it was ground chicken meat, formed into a patty, then it'd be a chicken burger. See also turkey burger, veggie burger, etc.

I think in the US that would pretty universally be called a chicken sandwich. If it were ground, not breaded and pan fried or grilled, then it would be a chicken burger.
