Well, I guess YouTube got a little overzealous and posted our video for tomorrow slightly early (by 12 hours), I'll go ahead and share it here, incase there was anyone champing at the bit for more.

Apparently last year AGDQ did a run of Trio the Punch. They went with w-fist on shitbag the whole run, and it took them about a half hour. Because AGDQ generally are all big spergs, they had to use the Japanese version and miss like, half the humor.

I'm almost 100% certain we would not have figured out that we needed to kill the bug at first.

I'm slightly disappointed that we didn't beat it, but at the same time, we were so worn down by the game, it just didn't seem like it would end.

Yay another one of my suggestions being used! And, as I often do, I have comments to make.

Some of the terrain is destructible; the earliest example is the second stage, where you can break the walls of some of the buildings to get goodies.

Your allies will only do stuff if you hit the button to deploy them. They also have hit points, and will die if they lose them; you can save them by ordering them back, and (if I recall correctly) they'll heal over time when not deployed. You can also collect additional familiar eggs to increase their max HP.

If you'd stuck around in the fossil room a little longer, something good would have happened. I think a heal? It's been a while.

In the cutscene where you get the rectangular token, it's possible instead to get a key that you take back to an earlier level to unlock treasure. I have no idea what the conditions are for this.

I loved how you all shittalked each other about shooting the citizens, then all managed to do it on your turns. Repeatedly. :v:

Allow me to educate you on the stuff you missed!

As you probably noticed on reviewing the footage, sometimes bad guys have two guns, and you have to shoot them twice.

You can free the guys who are tied up by shooting the rope. Once.

As you experienced, you only get the bonus for starting at a higher level if you can beat it.

Also! There's a bug in the game. While there's code to display the high score list, it's never called during attract mode. The only way to see the high scores is to get one.

Bank Panic is a game I periodically pull out and play. It's fun, but it does get old after a while. Also, you now have Dixie's Land stuck in your head. (I'm surprised there isn't a Confederate flag smilie.)

We are always taking requests, but I do have to warn you, the turn around on them takes time. Presently, None of us live within 12 hours of each other, and we can't really do the show over the internet, unless it's only one of us (likely Kyle) playing the game. So the best way to do everything is when we get together, which we have been doing every few months, which is why the show is split into "seasons". So I just want to remind people of that kind of thing when it can be literally months between when you request something and when it actually comes out.

Also, if you're wondering, we literally spend like a weekend doing nothing but playing video games, which is why the quality can wain in episodes, as on the final day before we call it quits, we've probably done something like 40 episodes at that point, in just 2 days. (This season alone has 60 episodes recorded so far, and there's a few collabs that we're gonna try to do that are gonna be recorded).

X-Men is coming in a few weeks, and we even got a fourth player. We tried playing Sunset Riders once, but we were dead when we tried it, so it didn't get off the cutting room floor, but I'm willing to go back and try it again. Captain America would be great, but

I had wanted to do Crazy Taxi, and I think the Head to Head format would work well for it. Those older sega games in particular are games I still see in arcades and I really wish they could get some headway on the emulation, especially the "lindbergh" stuff. My dream is to play something like San Francisco Rush 2049 or Hydro Thunder on the show, but we'd have to settle for the Dreamcast versions.
