DUNK A DILL PICKLE REALDO

quote:

It is likely to be the first time in industrialised history, save for periods of war or natural disaster, that the incomes of young adults have fallen so far when compared with the rest of society.

quote:

Prosperity has plummeted for young adults in the rich world.
In the US, under-30s are now poorer than retired people.
Millennials have suffered real terms losses in wages in the US, Italy, France, Spain, Germany and Canada and in some countries this was underway even before the 2008 financial crisis.

quote:

In our series, we will reveal that todays young people are not delaying adulthood because they are as the New Yorker once put it the most indulged young people in the history of the world. Instead, it appears they are not hitting the basic stages of adulthood at the same time as previous generations because such milestones are so much more costly and in some cases they are even being paid less than their parents were at the same age.

The phrase "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" has come so far from its original meaning that I move the expression be changed to "lick your own rear end in a top hat".

I want to hear a Republican politician tell people that they need to stop whining and lick their own rear end in a top hat.

The fun thing is hearing people saying "when I graduated in 1980 I had my own place and bought a car and was only making 25k a year", not realizing that 25k then is the equivalent of $70,000 now.

When I was in high school the neighbourhood I lived in and the school I attanded were on opposite sides of a ravine so I actually did have to walk uphill on both my way to and from school.

I had shoes though because my parents weren't some broke rear end Millennials. The sidewalks were also usually plowed in the winter.

Why is this surprising?

Just starting out in life vs. entire career behind you and provisions made for retirement.

I might loving hope that retired people are in a better place financially than some dumb fucks in their 20's.

Unless your hobbies are picking your nose or sniffing your own farts, they probably cost money and you gotta have a job to have money. And there are no entry-level jobs for millennials left because retirees are staying employed in all the good jobs.

And I don't know why retirees feel the need to work those jobs instead of just watching Matlock, taking viagra and jerking it or sleeping all day

I was just lurking about 100 pages ago and I want people to know I have the solution to people who don't drink water and just drink pop and juice. Here it is:

Take all these people and imprison them (for their own good of course), and give them only the driest, saltiest food to eat, then when they get thirsty give them only sugar-water, above the saturation point so that there's undissolved sugar floating in the bottom of their cup of syrup. Keep this up as their health deteriorates, as long as necessary right to the point where they're ready to die of dehydration. Then put a nice cold glass of water in front of them, far enough away so they have to crawl to it. Guarantee they won't want to drink pop or juice instead of water any more, and if they don't develop diabetes from drinking only syrup for a few weeks, they'll be rehabilitated and functional members of society.

Tbh the only thing you should buy at a starbucks is an iced coffee. That way you can just save the cup, rinse it out and reuse it later with your own iced coffee from home. Then when you drank all your coffee, you could drop buy a starbuck and get it refilled for only fifty cents. Walla lifehacked like a cheap gently caress hashtag hashtag like and subscribe guys!
