yyah i'm using the rifle spear but the canes fine. ig uess you could also do the blades of mercy if youw ant to kill eileen but that sounds like a huge pain in the rear end that early lol

I've done it with poison knives and it's not very fun but boy is it worth it for those sweet blades. The worse part is that you then have to grind a bunch of blood echoes to buy them

Ive been doing a rifle spear playthrough this week since Ive been writing it off for so long, and it's totally an okay weapon. pvp fights are challenging with it, though the transform attack is good for surprise viscerals. I'm going to retire it once I can get the church pick, to stick with the spear theme, but it's pretty cool

I discovered u can get 2 of the 10% rally runes so I'm using 2 of those and the 20% rally rune and the burial blade which has the highest rally i think, so I'm rallying a lot this run and I never need to use blood vials almost ever.

I should have mentioned that I preordered DS3 for the PC, but I still wanted to play BB so I got a PS4. I think I'm going to take off work the rest of spring. maybe summer too. in fact I'll just quit

This sounds extremely Wicked. A great way to squeeze life outta the rally system that high into the ng cycles. After I finish this cycle with beast claws I'm gonna run the church pick.

the saw spear was good enough up through +6 to handle logarius and get the chikage. loggy is best fought with something quick, and the saw spear untransformed is basically the cleaver, which is maybe the best quick 1hander in the game.

I think I'm going with the saw spear. I don't like that the cane whip doesn't have a charge up r2 or an l2 attack when transformed. It was fun to mess around with in central yarnham though, whipping 5 dudes at once like a slave driver.
