Trump is some kind of insane singularity where physics and norms break down and the rules stop applying

Can anyone recommend a nice auto clicker programme for a laptop? I used to have a pretty decent one but all I can find now are ones so full of "extra" software its like they have been banging Paris Hilton.

kedo posted:If you use Chrome you can right click the image, click "Inspect" and then find the URL in the developer tools. They're declaring it as a background-image and also a data:image (meaning there's no actual image file, they've converted the whole thing to base64 and include it in the CSS), that's why you can't just right click and save the thing. Ah. I didn't think to check the styles window rather than the elements window, since I noticed a src="data:image/gif;base64,somethingsomething" in there first, and that one doesn't work to save it. Thanks!

I like ReMouse better but it is $9 I think. Both of them you basically record what you want the mouse to do once and then set it do it over and over again. You can adjust the speed in the settings (at least on ReMouse). If you are clicking the same spot over and over you can just record 1 click and save that then tell it to repeat indefinitely. Speed it up or down as needed. If you need more than one spot just make it click them all as the macro then put it on repeat.

If I were to be tasked at work with picking a company to come out and do software development training for our team--specifically, in migrating to and using Git--where would I want to look? Random googling's got me a few results for classes, but finding review-type stuff like satisfaction surveys or whatever is proving elusive. (I'm not actually tasked with booking this, thank goodness, just looking to offer suggestions to my boss on courses. Don't wanna offer up a lemon)

There are guys that make WAY more than that but it takes a lot more to get it going and maintain. I am sure there are plenty of other reasons to use them too.

If you cannot generate $50 from doing some silly task using equipment you already own, then please relocate to where I live, so I can pay you $50.00 a month to some silly stuff for me. I'd provide the raw materials and general knowledge, and such. I routinely have simple stupid things that need doing that I would be glad to pay someone $50.00 a month cash to do. I can do it, and do do it, but I have to do all the "person who works too much and has worked too much in bright sunlight" stuff (put on jeweler's glasses, be in a extremely brightly lit area) that makes it take annoyingly annoying to get set up to do it for me. Setting up the work space would take no time if I did not need both reading glass and the equivalent brightness of direct sunlight to see the fine work. And then the regular breaks to stretch my diving related thumb joint pain. Note: This is not a serious job offer for work from me, but rather a point that someone near anyone is ready to pay $50.00 to have something done(move a couch, move a refrigerator, clean out a garage).

If you know anyone in the development world, ask them to recommend a consultant who can train your team to use Git. I doubt this is something you'll be able to find googling, and I simply can't believe you'll find yelp reviews or whateverthefuck on these people. The development world tends to be small, so you'll likely get some good recommendations this way. Out of curiosity, what type of team are you on that is going to use Git and can't simply figure it out on their own? If it's already a dev team, just delegate it to someone internally and give them a few weeks to learn it before they train the rest of the team. Git is not complex unless you intentionally make it so, and classes in Git are by no means a thing anyone needs to do.

I am that delegate, sort of I'm on a team that's used ClearCase for 10+ years and can't wrap their heads around the idea that checkins/commits can relate to an entire change instead of individual files, for a start. I'm the one who insisted we stop paying for that godawful thing, and got my way alongside another software project. I agree that I could easily teach the lot myself, especially given our generally glacial rate of code writing (most of our day to day is database bullshit), but the boss man wanted to know what was available, so I got curious.

Device Manager (and to a lesser extent System) in Control Panel but they won't be very specific. You're better off with a piece of software like Speccy or CPU-Z.

You could add a line in very small font saying that you are selling only the packaging, minus the game. If nothing else, it would make for an entertaining dispute ticket.

Its pretty great how in trying to kill the used game market, they have also killed my interest in ever buying a console again. Like, we are redoing our livingroom, just got new furniture, about to buy a new fancy tv, but every-time I thought think "poo poo, might as well buy an x-bone", I remember this poo poo and just look at Steam machines instead.

FCKGW posted:What are you taking about? You can resell games on console fine if you bought the disk. For a while EA was pushing hard to eliminate the used game market by using activation codes for multiplayer content. Since a lot of games focus on online multiplayer, those games would basically be unsellable. This also meant that if you wanted to bring your game over to a friends house to play locally with them, you couldn't access any online content, which is why I'll never buy one of their games again.

Cant really blame them for hating the second hand game market... Three billion to develop a console, they make a glorious $28 profit on each unit (Minus repairs, replacement, shipping, staff, advertising) Then people like me buy 19 games they never see a cent of.

So I can buy an xbone and buy a used copy of whatever the latest CoD is and it will work without spending more money? I haven't been called a friend of the family human being in forever and I kinda miss it.

I'm not sure first hand but apparently they have some asinine gifting system, it looks like it was other complaints they completely backpedalled on: http://au.ign.com/wikis/xbox-one/Used_Games_and_Rentals E: Since I already have content in this post I'll take the chance to point out to 504 that the second hand market is vital for playing games you didn't hear about when they first came out. So yes, I can blame them. This isn't the thread to take this discussion further, though. VVV They don't rob people of the reasons to make games though. That's completely ridiculous. Games still sell first-hand copies fine or people wouldn't have copies that they bought to be able to sell back. AlphaKretin fucked around with this message at 05:34 on Mar 11, 2016 |
