Pointless trivia: they actually ran Spongebob dubbed in Japanese on NHK over here, and they translated "Squidward" as "Ikarudo" ("ika" as in "squid", and sounds like "Ricardo"). I liked that they went out of their way to give him a name that makes sense instead of just "Sukuiddowaado".
