Smelly posted:Just make sure you strip your weapons before dismantling them. It will destroy anything attached to the weapon as well. I wish there was a prompt to auto-strip weapons/equipment of attachments if you try to sell or dismantle them. It's easy to forget what gun has what on it if you mod your guns a lot and switch between them, and I'd rather sort through my attachments separately to see what I want to keep or ditch over just junking them with the equipment they're mounted on.

Sounds like they nerfed end-game drops by quite a lot. Now named mobs in the DZ give 1-2 phoenix credits vs the 10+ you got before, and high end weapons don't drop nearly as frequently either. That sucks.

They did it while there's only 1% of the playerbase who's gotten that far, it was clearly overtuned and far too generous. No they didn't make it 'even worse' they made it so that a game about loot and character progression isn't akin to playing babby's first game on very easy mode. That's what makes people lose interest. It's like playing Destiny's strikes on level 28 mode and getting Kingfall quality gear, that's the closest analogy really.

That's what makes people lose interest. Bungie learned the lesson that people don't play games forever, you shouldn't make them and that it's okay if players leave for awhile. It's early days still but Ubisoft should really consider whether they want people leaving the game thinking it's grindy poo poo or leave the game happy and willing to play more when there's new content. There seems to be some initial confusion with these companies that are making games that don't have a subscription. There doesn't have to be a treadmill of any kind because you're not trying to keep that $15 a month flowing. You want players to leave happy and willing to buy more product later, not disenchanted with the whole thing.

Don't even think its worth it to lvl to 30 yet. No rogues in the DZ or they are lvl 50 with all yellow gear. The 19 dz has alot of rogues and is fun and you dont have to grind out 20 levels on mobs that give you 150 xp per kill. lol. Obsurveyor posted:Destiny I had fun with the crota DLC but didn't stay around for House of Wolves. Taken King was a really drat good release with alot of poo poo to do. And it wasn't farm dailies for 2 weeks to do the raid. They made it fun and you just had to do strikes. That's just the bonus of being out for a year and seeing what people want. We've been farming DZ05 and DZ06 for drops and people don't want to risk drops to go rogue. I'm trying to think of the best bracket to make a low level PvPer. Doing 1-14 bracket seems the easiest to level and gear for, but I don't feel like being the big bully picking on fresh meat doing baby's first Dark Zone. 15-19 seems a good compromise as you knock off the lowbie newbs and tighten the level gap.

Probably easier to get rank 4 contamination filter for the 15-19 DZ too. You can do it by level 14, but you really have to focus on medic resources and ignore other wings/sidequests.

I haven't tried challenge modes yet though, maybe those got changed

If you sit and farm in any bracket you will be in full purples pretty fast(like a day or 2) if you sell all your extractions. Do non-DZ vendors sell purples at this level?
