My windows Desktop is insanely powerful and has literally never had a single problem from the time I first powered it on until now. I've never needed to "restore" or "janitor" any of the consumer electronics in my life because I use the best (Nexus phones, beastly Windows rig) and use them as intended. Apple computers and gadgets fail on their own accord and break down in strange linux-y ways on their own volition constantly. You live a Janitor heavy life and are really, seriously, deluding yourself if you think otherwise. Equally valid anecdotal counterpoint: My nexus 5 has been pretty consistently poo poo forever.

my main complaints about win10 are they took the computer, devices, control panel, etc off the start menu so it's harder to janitor, there's still the bizarre divide between settings and control panel and several things you can only do in one but not the other, and when it finds a new update it pops up full screen to tell you and you can't cancel, there is one butan and it opens windows update but at least it's not 8

You can disable updates in usergroup settings, which is where that always should have been really. Anyway macos is loving fail. Name 1 thing an apple product can do over a chromebook besides be an extremely expensive piece of poo poo.

Hmm. No. They actually both employ the method of, every time something goes wrong you just reinstall the OS and Google/Apple re-downloads whatever you don't just keep in the cloud. Not that anything goes wrong. Cant say I've ever installed an update and had Chrome stop working

I saw a video earlier today of teens attempting to use a Windows 95 pc and they all got bored waiting 5 minutes for it to load up after they finally figured out how to turn it on in the first place. really makes you think
