I've been reading about the 64 nomination process and the Trump/Goldwater similarities are p funny (though they're also obviously different in a lot of ways) Trump being Goldwater II is not necessarily a good thing for liberals in the long run

I prefer to look forward, and on that front Pence is in for an ugly fight to a Democrat challenger soon and he's pretty unpopular, due in no large part to the opposition he's received every step of the way. It isn't ideal but Pence hasn't even been able to get an RFRA passed in the same amount of time that Brownback and Jindal turned their states into rolling tire fires in a dumpster factory
