Why does Maro need to have a vanilla mythic. That isn't interesting design space. Either it's super pushed and changes at least one format, or you waste a mythic slot. I don't see a win here

I think "card with 20 power and/or toughness" provides interesting combo potential and "feels mythic" since it's powerful enough to kill a player in one hit/is even fatter than a Magic player. I agree that anything without a ridiculous power or toughness figure (IE >=20) would not be an appropriate mythic. I expect him to follow LotVs price, a dip at rotation (but not as much as you'd think) followed by a quick rebound and then steady increase. JtMS also is from a smaller printing and is really old.
