But yeah, they are bad on the album and dogshit on stage. The 2000s were a dark time for "Hard" rock. Also, my first concert was a Stones concert from the 94 Voodoo lounge tour that my dad got free tickets to from some MWR fuckery. Opening acts were Kravitz and the Spin Doctors in Raleigh. They (Stones) played a lot of their "new stuff" which kinda sucked aside from a song or two, but they ended really strong on Satisfaction, Wild Horses and Jumping Jack Flash so all was forgiven. It was a super long set, even when i got a little older and went to concerts on my own, I realized that a 2 hour set with another 20 minutes of encore was not normal. Say what you will about the Rolling Stones, but holy poo poo they really treated that concert like the once in a lifetime event it would probably be for a lot of fans there. My dad won't go see them again, but not due to hilariously overpriced tickets or being old and hhating loud noises. Just because after seeing them in the 70s and then again in 94, he doesn't wanna sully those two memories. I get it

Driving to work this morning and Len's "Steal my sunshine" came on and it made me smile. I remember being annoyed with it when it was still new, but I realized in my efforts to be a cool metal kid I really sold a lot of fun top 40 poo poo short and that I had a pretty good early teenage memory of the song from when my brother and his girlfriend came down from college on spring break and took my sisters and I to the beach on St. Simon's Island in the back of his mid 80s Trans Am with the T-tops off. That song played a few times on the way up there and my brother's girlfriend wouldn't let him change the station while she and my sister's sang the chorus each time.

Welp, accidentally drank too much while skyping with a friend back home and laughing at primary results. Gonna go on a trip to DollarTree and try to stay under 25 dollars of discretionary spending for dumb poo poo since I'm the only boring idiot that didn't go anywhere for spring break and instead stayed in his apartment getting school work out of the way, reading books, playing video games and chilling on the lawn with no friends whatsoever.

Yeah, there was a report on the "CzechAV"-brand when I was home last summer and they appear to have user demographics similar to Pornhub, albeit not at the same market share, except they're doing it with intimate ties to the human trafficking/prostitution racket in the former satellite states and thus stick with their market share while having gigantic loving margins. So those are some really blinged-out tracksuits we're talking about.
