Most Nico fanart has her smiling, Xwhich is good, but it puts a premium on good not-smiling Nico pics.  XNico being the butt of the joke pics excepted, as those are relatively common.  XNico's smile or lack thereof works on the same principle as alternate hairstyles.  X

Symphogear won't blow your mind or anything but once it's past the rocky first few episodes of season 1 it becomes a very fun show about Hibiki befriending everyone and protecting her wife while Genjuro punches thing and looks swole in the background and Chris gets the best songs.

I know Tsubasa isn't Genjuro, or Hibiki, or even Chris, but it's pretty disappointing that she only has one vote when her signature attack is summoning a 30m high sword and kicking it into her opponent's face.

At this point the main source of my dislike is because Satelight decided it's the only type of show they wanna make and so the new Macross is bad

Chris's battle song genre is Rock. Many of Chris's attacks appear to be homages to rock bands, specifically Nirvana, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Queen. Chris uses English language for attacks.
