Sephiroth (assuming we're talking about no-adjective after Safer instead of Safer himself) has one attack.

It leaves Cloud at 1/32 of his HP.

There's also how it's in the scripting.

   Set Cloud as Self
   Choose Sephiroth
   Use Attack Command on Target

The game forces Cloud to attack Sephiroth afterwards, and since Sephiroth has 1 HP and 0 defense, it's probably going to be fatal.

Yeah, I was making a joke about Demon's Souls since Shadow Tower is a From Software game and the final boss is literally a king who's been corrupted and turned into a helpless monster by a powerful evil.

Beating up the demons and finding the crown was apparently supposed to restore the villagers' souls, including the old woman's who took care of him as a kid, but I guess he just kinda forgot about it what with the corrupting ultimate power in his hands and all.

The story is kind of weird and almost everything is left unexplained, apparently there was some old guy who told him all about what to do but apparently he had mistaken the protagonist for some other guy? And he gives the protagonist some magical sword that's supposed to be the only thing that can harm the demons but in the game it's just a lovely non-magical Short Sword that gets replaced by the first random mace you find? And there's that funny talking mole (that you can just kill whenever if you want) and the king even mentions that "you're allied with that rodent" before the final battle but he never actually plays any kind of role in the story?

I have no clue, it's a From game for sure. Maybe the sequel answers some stuff but I'm bad with horror elements in games so I'm not sure if I'll play that one yet.

Safer is a totally legit boss. It's just that Supernova is also fractional so that itself cannot kill you. But it inflicts confusion so with a little bad luck and not enough ribbons to go around it can wipe you.

His magic attack is high enough that Shadow Flare and Break are probably going to be instagibs, too.

Started replaying Demon's Souls last night and I forgot how slow it is, especially when coming off of Bloodborne. I'm having an easier time dodging attacks via normal movement than the fat roll with limited iframes.

It's actually surprisingly easy to get the non-canon happy ending in Shadow Hearts, I got it without really trying. Though funny thing is, I beat Covenant first so my playthrough of 1 was pretty much Yuri's second chance after Covenant's good ending.

It was really obvious you never beat the Dragon Tank because you complained about it being steampunk and generically medieval and that stops applying the second you beat the Dragon Tank.
