Gettin loose is cool though And it handles way better than you're lead to believe. Near 50/50 weight distribution and drives like a go kart they're so low to the ground. I owned a C5Z and it was fun and was good for embarrassing both ricers and BMW owners alike, but it broke down a lot so I sold it and used the money to renovate my kitchen. That's my corvette story thanks for reading. Next sports car will probably be a Cayman S because the new Z06 is too expensive.

I didi one of those "Pay 350 bucks and get an hour long safety brief and 5 laps in a Ferrari 458" track days a few weeks ago, threw in an extra 100 to get another few laps in their GTR. It's amazing how fast the GTR FEELS while the 458 Feels slower while being a good bit faster. Maybe has something to with how AWD grips compared to the old fashioned glued to the corner feeling of the RWD 458. My two friends who came with took their laps in the SLS and the Murciélago respectively, with all three of us getting some wheel time in the GTR. All three of us agreed that the GTR felt really fast while the lap times we had in the other cars were better, but my bud in the Lambo swears up and down that the Murc did not want to hold a line, it just wanted to make a lot of noise and chew all the tarmac on the corners and has no idea how it's AWD considering how much it wanted to step out. Also track days in legit supercars are seriously exhausting, each lap feels like you ran 3 miles in a sprint
