- I'm going to wander the market and verify the toddler didn't get run over by a truck once ever 4 hours
- Almost literally force feed them 20 times a day. When mom & dad come home 5 months later baby Li is 80 lbs
- Baby has a rash and is crying, better give it enough poppy sead oil that they literally have a herion overdose
- Dress baby in 5 layers of clothes because it is only +22 Celsius outside, baby has heat stroke.

My wife and mother in-law always assume my daughter is getting sick any time she sneezes. Like even right now at the start of allergy season. They treat her by putting on more layers of clothing, minimum of 5 layers when going out. When she legit got sick over the winter I had her in diapers with a 105 degree Fahrenheit fever, and they kept telling me to put more clothes on her even after I explained the reason why this was a bad idea. I suspect their dangerous levels of stupidity is due to brain damage suffered from overheating.

One of my kid's friends is really small for his age because grandma literally crammed food down his throat when he was a baby. Now food gives him a Pavlovian terror reaction and he barely eats.

After that there’s a quick quality control check. One case out of every small batch is checked to make sure it fits perfectly and there are no defects.
The bounds on the confidence interval will be loving huge if you only test one out of every "small batch." It's even dumber because this isn't like testing a consumable product or w/e where you can't ship the test units. Of course China's glorious manufacturing sector doesn't care about shipping defective units.

On the other hand those hotel rooms were pretty decent looking for $70 a night, not going to China decent though. Also lol at them eating a family style dinner and being confused and mystified by how "exotic" and "foreign" it is.

I've gotten some really weird gifts in China. A girl I was kinda dating gave me a pillow with my face on it as a gift. She had me open it and she spent the night that night and slept with it and I expected her to take it the next day but she left it on my bed, so that next night I was getting ready for bed and my pillow was just staring at me. It was really awkward.

It became a joke and people started taking it to the expat hangout we go to when I didn't go out and everyone would tag me in their pictures as my pillow face was floating in the background at times

The Rose Hotel in Shenyang charged us $85 a night for a "master suite" room that was absolutely beautiful (minus the view). Glass shower with a huge soaker tub, double sinks with a frosted/textured glass wall between it and the living room which had a 50" TV, a leather sofa and a loveseat. The next part was an office that had a nice desk and a lounge chair, with a bar-fridge and cabinets. The next was the balcony which overlooked "beautiful" Shenyang. In the living room were stairs that took you up to the bedroom which was a loft that overlooked the rest of the room and had a king-sized bed with a 1/2 bath, a 42" tv, and another smaller desk and some closet space. There was a really nice spa and gym in the basement and a restaurant somewhere in there as well.

The whole place was very tasteful and coming back to Canada and paying $180 for a room that was last renovated in the 1970's was a rude awakening.

Yeah those are really nice and spacious accommodations, you'd never find something like that in the US or Canada; excepting getting a reservation bumped up in quality because of a hotel error.
