This card just seems like too much. A smaller version that recovered less cards for less mana might actually be playable, but I can't imagine spending six mana to do nothing to the board being a good play with any regularity, and that's assuming you even have enough cards to get back to make it good. poo poo, even in EDH it probably won't be that great just because it's telegraphing to the whole table that they need to make you wheel your hand or hold up countermagic or something.
