For a couple months, I frequently played the first DOA volleyball game with a buddy of mine since he had it on his Xbox. We basically turned it into a satire-competitive kind of thing where we'd act like it was a serious tournament platform—like how a lot of folks play Madden, CoD, and StarCraft. It was a lot of fun and really funny, especially when one of us would taunt the other after a win. "Man, you suck at volleyball, fool! You can't touch this extreme sports skill!"

If that new one weren't so expensive to import, I'd definitely consider picking it up and inviting him over for a rematch.

Dead or Alive Paradise for PSP is in the Vita store and may or may not have local multiplayer for the volleyball.

There is no multiplayer in Paradise or DOAX3. DOAX2 was online only.

Boobs! Boobs everywhere!

Also, tons of games came out this week on the Vita in Japan, the legacy device that just doesn't die.

Nothing has been advertised and Amazon Japan answers says no.

The guy who actually cared about multiplayer and gameplay left Team Ninja after DOAX2 and now they're just blatent DLC selling platforms.

Still waiting for a "Haikyuu!" game on the Vita.

Edit: Of course, it would get a beach volleyball mode.

you should get a bunch of roguelites, falcom games and ps1 classics but vita also has a deep catalogue of off brand monster hunter games if you like that genre.
This console looks amazing! The display is leaps ahead and would be great for modern games.

Does anyone know if Day of the Tentacle is PSTV compatible? I know the thing is deader than the Vita but Double Fine has made a decent effort to support both. If it's not I'll just buy it for PC.

I finally got my Vita skinned. I do this with most of my devices both to make them look nice and also protect them from scratches.

As you can see, I went with a look that matches my PSP. :haw:

No, a person at Double Fine has to ask a person at Sony who asks the actual person at Sony who puts it on the whitelist. I saw this happen over Twitter once with the BoI remake, because someone actually asked Tyrone on Twitter.

So far, only one person has cared enough to tweet at DF and didn't ask them to fix it.
