oh hey I totally missed this thread somehow I built a neural network twitter bot and trained it on dril's tweets, because markov chains are lame and passé  it updated once an hour or so, each tweet as it's a stage further along in its training, so in theory it would get more dril-like as time goes on in practice I accidentally ruined the VM it was running in, so it's down until I figure out whether to install debian or fedora on my desktop pc to get it running again and also train it on the GPU (much much faster than CPU), and switch to a new neural network framework

I got char-rnn up and running but it was very slow without a gpu, i switched to torch-rnn which was much faster but just kept outputting poo poo, so I kinda gave up on this project for now.

I was using Darknet in a VM on a CPU (and the infuriatingly-named Ruby gem "t" to do the actual twitter), but am working on installing Linux so I can use torch-rnn on my AMD GPU. For more info on installing Linux see my latest posts in the Linux thread
