I can't believe they found someone else to fight Gabi Garcia. This woman is so obscure that when you Google her, only Gabi's picture comes up. But Bloody Elbow assures me she is a 26-year-old Russian who had won the "Russian MMA Championship" and the "World Cup of MMA in Russia" despite having a professional record of 1-0 so that is promising.

How do shoot tag matches work? Do you still have to physically tag or can you just say when the other guy is about to grab an armbar on you "hey wait I want to switch"

During this samurai demonstration, any time it goes to the ground, the pull out their knives and stab each other in the side. It reminds me of when, I believe it was david carmichael, when the question about time limits on the ground in judo, responded that 8 seconds is how long it was expected for you to draw your judo knife and finish the bout.

I don't know how many people listen to the Sean Wheelock and Big John podcast but they spend a while talking about UR Fight - John was offered a huge payout to do the MMA fight but he didn't want to be associated with it. Sean tries to put it over as best he can because he was one of the commentators and John's just laughing at him like "you're full of poo poo dude, that show was garbage and you know it!"
