Appropriate for today I guess. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvdMJAs5NRM When I saw them in support of Oceania (the one without Manson, the girl and the drummer that wasn't Chamberlain were in the band) they did this and I thought it was pretty drat great.

Good god the camera editing on that video is atrocious. They're trying to make it look like a tween pop punk video for some reason.

Cool, glad you like it. The Pumpkins and other 90's rock acts (The Rentals, Hum) are obvious influences on them. Their sound is absolutely massive, and they do great things with vocals.

I caught Monuments (the song) on Spotify the other day, heard it for the first time in over a year, and I really dig it. I don't know why it didn't stick out at me before.

Billy has alzheimer's. quote:Billy Corgan also spoke about why the Pumpkins will never perform one of their albums in its entirety, as many bands have done in recent years. "The idea of getting up and playing an album that was never meant to be played live in that sequence smacks of consumerism," he told Rolling Stone. "That stuff is the dregs of the music business. I have a hard time believing that everybody out there doing it really wants to do it."

How old's that quote? I mean if it's from the 90s whatever, he changed his mind. If it's new, welllllllllll.

Weird, I didn't even think of Oceania, because I took his quote to mean 'old, classic albums', like SD, or MCIS, but goddamn, yeah, the DID play Oceania start to finish all the time back then. Oh Billy

I mean he can always say "well, Oceania was meant to be played that way" but c'mon Billy, get your poo poo together.

He may have been referring strictly to the 90s because he also addedquote:He also claimed that "millennials love Siamese Dream," which surprised him because "no one's harder on the millennials than me." The difference between Billy and other artists is that everyone else seems to enjoy putting on a good show and leaving the fans satisfied, whereas Billy has nothing but contempt for his fans.

Yeah, I'm assuming it was a mostly one-time thing, probably testing the waters for fan response and maybe someday a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. See if he can get on stage with Billy again and not want to blow his brains out.
