Hopefully her husband goes before she does so that she'll be able to clean & press his coffin at the funeral.

When you think about it, dropping your own husband's coffin into a grave is the ultimate alpha weight drop maneuver.

Deadlifting puts my heart in the 170bpm range, that old lady must have a ticker like a punching press. Good on her.

any tips for isolating pecs? even on flys I feel like my shoulders/arms are doing most of the work.

go lighter and loosen your grip so its just resting in your palms, squeeze your pecs at the top

He is in much, much better shape than I am. (Look at that Feathering on his sides!) But, especially talking about chest stuff (his chest looks like mine, but his arms... he's easily 1.5 to 2x as strong as I am) - he has some extra work to do before some people will take him seriously. For someone my size, his chest workout would probably be perfect. But I'm not sure it's working for him.

sure, since you asked My point isn't that the DB fly movement doesn't involve the chest, because it does. However, majority stress of the exercise is felt in the coracobrachialis muscle, which in itself has nothing to do with the development of your chest. I figure that's what the OP was anecdotally inferring. And since you can't create tension at the top of the movement with dumbbells, you're better off using cables. You'll be able to stack more weight on, in a much safer way. I'm v sorry if this argument offends you
