Especially since you can't just eliminate all the guards any more. yeah both of these are still 'rush it after we blow stealth' situations though. art gallery/ff1 is just 'well it's gonna go bad might as well ecm rush' and ff3 is again just 'well these clowns are about to alert so let's try to get the stealth objective done before literally all of our progress is lost' you are only marginally better off in both cases vs just presuming you're ecm rushing it from the start, and in art gallery you probably would've been better off just presuming you were going to ecm rush it because you can be in and out well before even unupgraded ecms are exhausted with a coordinated team the idea being tossed around is that ecms make a good panic button to erase a stealth mistake or stop it from being fatal/that ecm rushing is silly. they do not and never have. they delay the fatal mistake, and the emergent behavior behind them is that if a team is good at timing they can delay the fatal mistake to the point where it doesn't matter. ecm rushing is, in fact, the only decent use for ecms in stealth by default. to erase a stealth mistake you'd have to do something like use an ECM on a body before the pager goes off to short out the pager. but then all the strats would just shift to bringing enough ECMs to completely neutralize whatever map you're playing, since you'd effectively have 12 pagers. My Hudlist mod broke suddenly after I rebooted the game. Is it not supported anymore? Does anyone know of a mod that shows the enemies, civvies, drills, hacks and hopefully things like keycards and chems on the map?

As far as I can tell, poo poo went down between the author of that mod, Overkill, and some other mod community, leading to the author just walking away from Payday. I have not been able to find a stand alone mod that does those things. Everyone just points at the poo poo that is HoxHud.
