I haven't played in several years and still have a carrier docked somewhere in . . . the South? Used to be BoB space, near some dead-end system where a hostile Titan was cooking, and the battle turned into a ridiculous laggy mess? Anyway, is there any realistic way to get it to goon space, or am I more or less boned if I want to take my cap ship out to play for the swarm?

I've tried getting into this terrible game a few times and it's never really clicked, considering giving it another shot since there's poo poo going down but have a few questions: 1) I can't find the contact information for my old account so I'd probably be starting fresh - not too broken up about this since I was just barely getting into cruisers, it's not like I had massive piles of SP or isk lying around. Are there still things for a fresh character to do in a war like this? Or is joining Karmafleet or something better for (re)learning the game? Not a fan of reddit in general but last time I tried starting this game I was BNI for a bit before their delusions of grandeur set in and I seem to remember porkbutt being a good guy, really willing to help players learn. 2) On that note once BNI went to poo poo I quit the game for a while, then came back and apped to GS - apparently BNI had just recently had an IT leak or something of their APIs and that was A Problem, so I slummed it in syndicate for a bit then quit again. Is that still an issue for either acceptance or the technical side of auth? Thanks!
