Again a very likpatous story

I honestly can't tell this vacation artist from the actual strip. I'm wondering if she's actually been drawing Dilbert for a while, is tired of not getting credit for her work, and decided to use the vacation strips as an excuse to put her name on it.

I checked and she's listed on LinkedIn as "design director and artist" at Andrews McMeel. Wonder if that involves doing touchup work on strips?

After the hugely popular success of comic strip "Little Nemo in Slumberland" in 1905 – McCay began performing on vaudeville. His act included 'lightning sketches' – with chalk on a blackboard – of various cartoon characters from his comic strips. But McCay wanted to do more.

Even as he continued to produce several comic strips and editorial cartoons, McCay was inspired by some advertising flip books shown to him by his son. He decided to produce his first animated film for his vaudeville act. The 1911 film, "Winsor McCay and His Moving Comics" (also known as Little Nemo), shows McCay wagering with his friends that he can produce 4,000 drawings in a month. The result is a 10-minute silent film (see above) including some of the characters from his weekly comic strip "Little Nemo in Slumberland," according to Silentera.com.

Ugh. I'll be honest, at this point GTG gets very ... illegible (but it's better if you click and enlarge). Many strips were scanned sideways, which makes them hard to read, and a lot of days were skipped. I'll do another search for a better source, but GTG may be on its way out. (to the relief of some of you, I'm sure).

She's an ex-network reporter who is employed by an Internet company, so presumably there's at least one computer in the office. She's also supposed to have graduated in 1988 (unless TomBat changed that again), which means she's got no excuse to not know whatever off-brand version of Google they use in the Funkyverse.
