Highlight of the race: Gerhardt Berger (when asked about ferrari) saying he has no loyalty to either of the teams he raced for and hopes they all do well, and DC looking back confused with Christian Horne's dick in his mouth

Same. edit: The Ferrari engine looks to be hot garbage. I'm curious what came out of the back of Seb's car. Arrivabene thinks its either a valve or an injector, either of which is a helluva thing to lose on a warm up lap. F1DriverQuidenBerg fucked around with this message at 18:49 on Apr 3, 2016 |

OK I have to admit that the channel 4 coverage was pretty excellent, I really enjoyed it apart from Not Simon/Not Jake,. Talk about a presenter knowing nothing about F1 being thrown into the thick of things and being told to learn as he goes. I loved the Murray Walker montage at the beginning, I just loving love that guy. Since I was a child Murray Walker was a big part of my F1 experience and whenever he appears on tv he always gets a big 'awwwwwwwww Murray'. So Qualifying! FIA are basically saying 'we hear you drivers, we hear you teams, we hear you sponsors, we hear you fans, the new system is poo poo but.. but.. but.. just stick with it and you will get used to it.' What a load of loving bollocks. The new qualifying is complete loving garbage and no one likes it or wants it, ditch it. Fantastic race for Bahrain. I thought for a second at the start that I had tuned into GP2 what with all the amateur dramatics but soon I was revelling in Their Lewis' woes and loved that the right man won the race at the end of the day. GOOOOO NICOOOOOOOOOOOO. As it happened I watched the race with my dad (something that doesn't happen often) and he is a HUGE Hamilton fan and seeing his face whenever Rosberg wins over Hamilton is an amazing happening. Especially as whenever my father watches F1 with me Hamilton always loses out to Rosberg so he cant argue his points against me. I went to Silverstone for the first time with my dad in 2013, it was loving glorious. I see Alonso is still in his reanimation process as the bits I saw of him was reminiscent of a certain awakened monstrosity being awakened by the cries of 'he's alive! ALIVE!' Overall I was thoroughly entertained, got the result I wanted, great race. Shame about the qualifying.

Seriously if there was ever a huge gigantic red flag over a team's financial performance not being able to afford loving fold out chairs would be it. for christ sakes even when I was dirt broke I could've mustered the resources to go out and get 30 fold out chairs.

Its a stupid thing to bitch about and as I said before you can either buy Ferrari parts or make parts better than Ferrari. For Williams to bitch and moan about Haas using Ferrari bits while they quite clearly can't make a car better than Ferrari just smacks of sour grapes. There's nothing stopping Williams asking Mercedes for some bits except for pride and admitting the fact that they're now effectively a B team, but they have been since the new engine regs.

Like how RBR and TR had to start designing 2 different cars Haas got to copy Ferrari car because they weren't bound by those laws or some poo poo until they were a real team. and in return ferrari got to cheat and get more wind tunnel time or some poo poo i really dont know but its something like that Haas might be double-poo poo next year El Hefe posted:Haas has 18 WCC points Alonso - 0 Points Button - 0 Points

Dubs posted:im not sure you can get help from another team once you _are_ a team. Like how RBR and TR had to start designing 2 different cars no, it's nothing like that. first off, everything you've ever heard about haas copying the ferrari car and then ferrari testing parts during "haas" time is little more than rumor. i mean, there's probably SOME truth to it, but no one even remotely reputable has ever reported it, so idk why people treat it as fact. secondly, what haas is doing now can be done by any team. there is a list of parts in the rules that teams can purchase, rather than build themselves. haas is simply buying all of those parts from ferrari. anyone else could do exactly the same thing.

you know, i'm pretty stupid and childish, but i guess i'm neither stupid nor childish enough to understand the mentality that, because sauber hosed over two drivers no one cares about, and in doing so did nothing more unethical than every F1 team does every year, that we should stand up and applaud the hypothetical death of a team that's been a respectable and competent member of the sport for 30 dang years.

I think it's more relief that it's finally over. Sauber has been on death watch since it bought itself back from BMW.
