The shelf life of a bottle is limited though because the acetone kills the spray mechanism. This is why I use one of those little oiler cans. Seems to be holding up after 1.5+ years. You can't spray with it but it does what I need it to.

April chat thread? Are we sure its April? Needless to say I was not able to drive it to work today. I attempted driving on my street, but 315mm in the rear (:thatswhatshesaid:) and hockey puck summer tires in the front do not make for a comforting ride.

so apparently the hot new trend is texting while skateboarding. right as I was about to pass between a pair of bollards, this dipshit not paying attention decided he had to pass through the exact same opening, even after finally looking up and making eye contact with me. if id been a couple mph faster I would have plowed over him, as it was I had to swerve while the two of us were in a 2-3 foot space; i lost balance and had to stop, and he fell forward and walked off the board which rolled downhill into the back of my ankle. i'm loving looking everywhere when i'm moving even slightly faster than foot traffic how the gently caress do you just check out while on something where you actively have to maintain balance

It'd go from bright and sunny to about 1/8th mile visibility through blowing snow and then back to bright and sunny. You'll break the engine before you shred the transmission. I've always wondered why no one puts Audi AWD manuals into subarus. Shouldn't be too too hard, since they're both the same longitudinal setup with the front diff behind the engine.

Just had the police knock on the door. I am told that there were 9 garages broken into at our old complex over the weekend, one of them being my old unit so of course that makes me suspect since we moved out of there a loving year ago. They asked me a bunch of unrelated questions, got irritated that I had an airtight alibi and then told me they needed to take me to the station for my statement. Having been through this same bullshit with the previous management at that complex I declined to go with them. One of them said my attitude made me look guilty and I just shrugged and asked if I was under arrest. They said no so I told them to have a good day and closed the door. gently caress da police yo.

Over summer there's only 2 classes (6 credit hours total) I can take anyway, so that's already 1 semester breather compared to this one.

Proud of you for sticking it out, yo. well i'm all registered. fluids and measurements over summer; vibrations, heat transfer, cad/cam and engineering practices in fall. the last two i feel pretty good about (eng practices used to just be called "solidworks" which I'm pretty familiar with, and cad/cam should be easy enough to pick up), leaving just two real hard hitters per semester. should be at least somewhat easier than this semester with two real hard courses and one that's way harder than any of us anticipated. now i just have to schedule counseling, and a physical as a follow-up to my last doc appt, and get my oil changed, and find time to keep applying for internships, and the apartment hunt... E: poo poo, i'm looking now and I could start senior design 1 as soon as next spring, which puts me graduating summer or fall depending on lab course availability and the internship situation, instead of may '18 like i've been thinking. I struggle with that too. Currently there's 3 non-running cars in my backyard calling my name but I have to prioritize here. Two classes seems like a mistake right now with all the bullshit going on this week, but it'll be awesome once I get through it. If you're going through hell, keep going. This is non-mindful Adiabatic that really needs to get back to mindful Adiabatic. See? I do it too. Back to one class in the fall, and I may end up taking a break since I'm beginning to get disillusioned and just reached the halfway point. We'll see how I feel after a break during the summer. What's measurements? Fluids feels weird with the crazy applications of equations, but if you try to keep your eye on the big picture and why you're using it the way they're teaching you, it helps a bunch. Or at least it helped me. Make sure to have a light load when you take heat transfer. That class is a killer.
