And for ETS2 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=664698556

I actually found a few that I had otherwise and a couple that I decided to replace ones I was using with for convenience sake. Ended up with a decent list and I'll poke through yours as well - thanks!

I can't wait for the inevitable petty drama bomb of someone other than the creator uploading one of these mods to the workshop if the creator isn't going to.

$2 more than I can afford right now :(

Also, pretty cool that they made 1 DLC for 2 games (probably helps that both games have a common engine)

If everyone hates SCS and the game so much, why do they keep commenting on the blog page? HOW DARE THEY RELEASE A SILLY LITTLE DLC THAT THE MODELING TEAM DID WHEN THEY DIDN"T HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO DO BECAUSE LICENSES ARE STILL IN THE WORKS!!! HOW DARE SCS NOT HAVE LICENSES ALREADY, I KNOW NOTHING OF THE LICENSING PROCESS BUT IT MUST BE INSTANTANEOUS!

What I don't understand is why they ASSUME that I own both games, sure this would be a quick buy at 1.50 for ETD which i have but then I need to pay 1.50 for DLC to a GAME I DON'T EVEN OWN!!!!

They want to bleed us dry. Goons let's boycott them and send a boldly worded letter to these Scandinavian ripoff artists.

Jazzycat's website isn't one of the creepy deepy shady russian ones that use adfly everywhere. He just points them to the direct link, not expecting the penny he'd get from an adfly link.

He might be using something other than the Steam Workshop because it goes over Steam's maximum size for mods. Or he's just used to doing it the old way.

SCS would either have to be proactive or someone would have to complain for that to be a problem. Then again, I guarantee 100% someone would do it out of spite or something. So.

A good number of the mods on the worskshop are just ripped assets so honestly I'm not sure thats the problem. Jazzycat said himself the bigger issue is that his mods are all quite large and this is causing him problems. But like he's also said his stuff will be up n the workshop eventually.

Also I m far too excited by tire customization dlc.

That could be too - there are some huge mods on the workshop in certain places and his mods aren't *that* big so I think that SCS would just need to enable large mods? In fact, I have mods that are an order of magnitude larger than his that are installed via workshop at this point. American Realism in particular is 111.5MB and Jazzycat's stuff is 15-20MB.

Edit: The Peterbilt 389 on the workshop is 528MB. Size isn't the problem here. He's either lying or misread something.

So glad they aren't modelling waiting for permits. My nephew is currently stuck just inside Illinois heading for Indianapolis with an 18'6" wide load and needs 3 civilian escorts and 2 state police escorts. The state police need to be notified 24 hours in advance and the permits also need to be filed in advance. His company's permit guy forgot to mention he'd be off work yesterday so he's going nowhere until tomorrow and won't be able to drive over the weekend because of the load's size.

Some games work around this by having large workshop items split into multiple parts, which are also part of a collection. You can subscribe to all items in a collection with a single click and it works. It's not ideal though, and will probably confuse some people.

They probably feel the game is incomplete if they don't own all its DLC. Even if they were already playing the game before that DLC was released :downs:

Jazzy's stuff is quite large.

Trailer and Cargo pack by itself is 2.5GB, and it's split into two files.
AI traffic is 588MB.

The other stuff is more reasonably sized. And I'm talking about ETS2, not ATS. I don't have ATS.
The map isn't big enough for me yet.

I could get behind a weekend in Chicago. Giordano's pizza, yum.

74 brought him right by his mom's place so he's taking his break here.

Turns out that they didn't tell him the load could be partially disassembled so he doesn't actually need any escorts.

Ok, I was looking at his ATS stuff which is nowhere near that big. There's still nothing stopping him from splitting it into multiple parts, it'd save everyone a huge download every time he makes a minor change anyways.

This is pretty cool and all, and I will probably order one soon, but the shifter positions in the default medallions don't include the G27's reverse slot, and that throws the all positions out of whack. Nice of them to add a custom image option, though.

And correct me if I'm wrong but vanilla ETS2 only has a 12-speed gearbox, right?
