I didn't even think about it when I took it. A step to the left would have fixed it, and I would have gotten "MAIN POWER DISCONNECT" a little farther from the edge of the frame, too. (I spent a lot more time loving with the auto level on the camera.. because I think it might definitely be probably not level)

I also think I'm seeing the point where the digital distortion correction on this tiny cheap 14mm lens can't make things any more rectilinear.


Anyway, Velvia. This poo poo does not tolerate overexposure. Oh well:

Started to snow once I got onto Icefields Parkway - my luck with glaciers being obscured by clouds continues back home

Had my snowshoes and poles so I tried to access the higher Bow Summit lookout point, but was by myself and it's steep enough in the summer, but there were spots where the snow was still 3 feet deep and I didn't feel like snapping an ankle/falling

What was your light source here? Looks kind of magenta/blue. I've been doing DSLR 'scanning' for a minute now and am starting to recognize some of the issues that come with it, like camera color bias, and the fact that, with slide film especially, backlight color is hard to correct for. My velvia shot above was very blue when I looked at the .cr2 and I tried to correct it, but I think the final effect is a little unnatural, even for velvia.
