For that ST:TNG episode, it's more like they skipped way over the whole sexuality thing and went straight out to a real futuristic (for that era) concept: gender. Back then, it would be unheard of for someone not to be the gender they appear to be, beyond simply drag.

Hah, watching this last year for the first time it hit me as a very progressive message of gender as something completely separate from bodies (given all the backstory about the Trill and that the two weren't in the same bodies they had been). Did you know who time he joked with Scalia that all federal courts could be abolished and the supreme court could be completely defunded and reduced to one chief justice? Scalia replied you need 3 justices to have a chief justice at least. To which King replied aren't there too many chiefs already. They had some fun guys.

finally king done and i'm pretty sure he said we need to support grassley in his attempts at stopping the nomination because it is political and a republican needs to be elected because then we win. hank johnson thanked king for giving an hour speech. he seems like a baller guy who is giving a good civics lesson.
